Best Chinese take-out in the area. I live in Golden and have tried all the Chinese restaurants in my town. In order to fulfill my Chinese craving I took a chance and ordered from China Garden. The Crab Rangoon and Egg Rolls were both very tasty and not oily like many other restaurants in the area. I ordered the Mu Shu Chicken and hubby ordered his standard– General Tso Chicken. Both had the right amount of spice and again the dishes were not laden with oil. Hand’s down it’s the best and I’m so happy I finally found my go to Chinese Restaurant.

Unfortunately China garden has gone a bit down hill. They advertise a lunch buffet but don’t actually have one. Their food is OK not as fantastic as it used to be. Also it is a bit slower. However, the people here are super friendly and will remember you. My favorite thing used to be the sesame chicken, the chicken now is a little stringy and greasy and leaves you wondering o0. The pu pu platter is still awesome and a fun treat. I wouldn’t say ill never be back but its not my favorite Chinese place anymore.

This place is great if you’re ordering take out or don’t care much about décor. The staff is incredibly friendly, service is always great, and the food is tough to beat. As well, prices are actually lower than other competitors in the area. Every person that I’ve taken to China Garden has loved it — just a great hole-in-the-wall Chinese place. Unfortunately, the décor may put some people off. The restaurant is in a building that is fairly run-down, and the restaurant is usually pretty poorly lit. That said, if you hate the way the restaurant looks, just order takeout or delivery — I promise you won’t be disappointed by the food.

We went here for lunch recently. Their price is $ 5.99 for their buffet. It’s a small buffet, but pretty well managed. The selection was limited, but the food was cooked well and it was good. The beef and chicken were tender. The don’t have a soda fountain, but you get a glass full of ice and a can of soda(not included in the buffet price). The staff is friendly, too. My husband enjoyed the food more than I did, but for the price(and his enjoyment), we’ll be coming back for the buffet again soon, I’m sure.
