Nice little dive bar. Fun karaōke, I don’t sing but it’s still fun to watch. Good song choices. They carry a lot of that Sveda or whatever is called, really bright bottles. I always wanted to try those. Friendly bar tenders. They also have a video game setup close to the door. Oh yeah they have popcorn too, I love when bars do that.

Ah, Corky’s… It seems like most cities in the U.S. have more karaōke hosts than regular DJs, but for some reason this area lacks many seven night a week karaōke spots. Corky’s Place is one of the two or three options around, and it would be a decent choice even somewhere saturated with karaōke options. There isn’t anything particularly unusual about Corky’s but it gets a lot of things right. Corky’s has a great selection of songs(accessible via one of three iPads in the back), the sound is better than one might expect for a dive, and staff is generally friendly and engaging. The regular karaōke host(Brandon?) manages the show well and isn’t one to steal the show with long-winded jokes or excess singing of his own, like many hosts tend to do. It also doesn’t hurt that the layout and possibly too friendly patrons of Corky’s remind me of The Beacon Pub, one of my favorite karaōke spots in Seattle that shut down a few years ago: The only downsides to Corky’s are the lack of food and a pesky $.50 fee for using credit cards. Corky’s has a kitchen and advertises pizza, but I think I have only seen the kitchen open once(but that could be coincidental based on when I go.) I also doubt that the food situation is a real problem for most people. As far as the credit card fee, it doesn’t get charged enough for me to remember that such a fee exists, so it ends up being an unpleasant surprise when it happens. Without the fee(or some kind of a warning) I would probably rate Corky’s as five stars. Otherwise, Corky’s is great and I will keep coming back. If you like to sing, arrive early on the weekend as the rotation fills up fast and you could be in for a long wait.

Popcorn is on point. Beers are legit. Get smashed and sing some songs. Take a chick home before the lights come on. Pretty sure I met Ed Sheeran here.

Really great bar with drinks specials and karaōke(every night)! Had so much fun coming here for the first time this past weekend. The service was really good and I loved how big the space was. My absolute favorite part of the bar was the old school bowling machine in the back. This game is sooo much fun! They also have pool and a pin ball machine. Having games at the bar is a plus! They also have a popcorn machine — score! One of my new favorite spots in Lakewood! I would love to come back soon for there happy hour and food specials. It is a hole in the wall but not your typical one. They have way more to offer than the competition. Great spot with a diverse crowd!

This is my favorite karaōke bar in Cleveland! Brandon(the DJ) is awesome, super funny and is always improving his system. He really just wants everybody to have a good time and I DO every time I’m there! I also love how diverse the crowd is. Everybody is welcome here. :)

If you’re looking for a spot to get wasted and potentially piss on the floor you’re in business here. I was surrounded by people in Jean jackets, female mullets and bandannas. Cheap drinks and I got super drunk. Kareoke is fun but the size of the place makes it impossible for me to do my moon walking or break dancing.

Great little bar that you may not even know is around. Definitely worth a try. Drink prices are spot on and they have all the drinks you would expect. Add a pool table, pinball machine, bar bowling, and Keno, and well, you have yourself a nice little happy hour which very well may turn into a night out. They also have karaōke SEVEN nights a week. You can order up a made-to-order pizza or just snack from the popcorn machine. Good stuff. One of my go-to bars these days. If you can make it from 6 – 7 on a weekday, trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. POWERHOURBABY!

I just moved here and this place has made me feel right at home. Everyone is super friendly, drinks are priced right, and there is a pool table and arcade bowling. Nicole, one of the bartenders and Brandon, the dj were nothing but nice to me. Will be frequenting this place for sure.

This place caught me off guard. The people were nice the drinks were very well priced. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. This was on a Tuesday… The bar was going up on a Tuesday! I definitely will be back! I had a lot of laughs!

Have a rough day at work? This place may be your saving grace! This may be the only bar left that does a POWERHOUR! From 6 – 7 on weekdays, they have $ 1 wells, domestic drafts and FIREBALL(yes…seriously only $ 1 for fireball). I usually go for the shots of Fireball alone! Their only rule is that you must finish what you have before they pour you another, and let me tell you by 7pm you’ll be glad they have that in place(I know I’m usually feeling pretty buzzed to say the least by then). It’s definitely a hole in the wall with it’s own regulars, but who’s to say there’s anything wrong with that? They have Keno, endless salty popcorn, yum! On Tuesdays it’s also $ 2 whiskey night, which includes my personal favorite, Jameson! Cheapest price you’ll see some of your favorite whiskeys anywhere! Karaōke every night of the week for all the singers out there. I’ve had multiple power hour bartenders and they’re all awesome and very down to earth! They make you very welcome and very at home. I can’t say I’ve had a negative experience here, it’s always just a fun and relaxed atmosphere… definitely a place to try, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the shittiest karaōke place in Lakewood. The DJ thinks he is God as and will only play a song if the singer put in the song within the last 20 min. DJ does not care if the patron has put in a song, HEWILLCUTYOUOFFFROMSINGING! He is an unfair DJ, don’t even think about singing two songs in one night unless you put different names in every time. Brandon should be fired because he is unprofessional and develops relationships with his regular karaōke singers. Please hire a new DJ because my friends and I used to come every week but we find somewhere else to spend our money since Corkys hires people who are unrelatable and terrible at their job.

The Friday night bartender chick they have utterly sucks and I wouldnt let her pour dog piss if I was the owner. She must be banging somebody to have this job. Pour a Dortmunder in a damn plastic cup like im a criminal and charge me full price? This might fly for 23yr old kids but she literally is the reason we dont come here anymore. I feel badly because the owner dude seems like a nice fella and means well but the girls he has bartending(for the most part) I wouldnt trust with my money, liquor or let alone my reputation with customers. Even for a beer and shot place they are bad! I would rather get kicked in the nuts by High Pitch Eric and get my booty waxed with duct tape than have to get served by her and be expected to tip her too.

I went here with a group of friends for a going away karaōke party and there were a number of different races who all speak different languages so we were wondering if they could pull up some songs to our liking. They did! Jay Chou was playing and that was awesome. They definitely have the capability to do that so A+++ for that. Another nice feature is that they have a pool table so people were able to do other things beside singing. It’s full bar so order whatever you like and the people are nice. It’s a divey place so don’t expect the place to play any loud clubby music unless you pick a song like that. Anyhow for being open mic, it was fun.

Life Goes On at Corky’s. I think a lot of people go here for the sing along music. I think a lot of energy has been transferred to that activity. It is sad because that takes away from the drinking aspect. This was a good bar to be down and out at. I still have had excellent times at Corky’s and it is one of the best bars in the Cleveland area.

Karaōke karaōke karaōke. The crowd there is awesome on the karaōke nights. Ambiance is sorta divey meets hipster(they are about the same thing anyhow). Its hit or miss but more hits than misses in my experience. Complaints? The only thing I’d change is knock the booze prices down a few notches. PLEASE!

I totally dig Corky’s. They have a full bar with efficient bartending staff and reasonable prices. There’s a pool table, dark lighting, and long high-top seating. It’s a dive. But the true reason I love Corky’s is because it is arguably one of the best places to go for Karaōke in the Cleveland area. You’ll see singers of all types. The people watching is on par with your typical Karaōke circuit. The DJs have a near-excellent music selection(some of my favorites happen to be missing from the catalog, but it’s not a deal breaker). As D.L. mentioned, the DJ’s really do work hard to get everyone in, which is nice if you come to sing and don’t have to listen to the same 5 people over and over before you’re called up. Even if you’re just a karaōke watcher, you’ll find yourself amused with the variety of songs, characters, and«talent.»
