DeLong’s DeLuxe makes mouthwatering burgers, shakes and fries that are «off the chain» and served in a contemporary park-​like setting that offers outside dining on the patio or the grass courtyard. With its only location in Lakewood, it is family owned and operated.

Our burgers, of which there are many to select from, are made of fresh premium ground chuck, our hotdogs are 100% Kosher beef franks. We use Tillamook cheddar cheese, real Bleu cheese crumbles, cream cheese, with fresh vegetables and buns, locally supplied, recyclable containers not Styrofoam containers, real lunch napkins, etc. Our milkshakes are handspun using real fruit toppings. Nothing is cooked until you order it, so our products are always served fresh and hot.

History

Established in 2013.

DeLong’s DeLuxe one and only location opened February 6, 2013. As old fashioned traditional hamburger aficionados, it had long been a dream to open a burger place. The design and recipes were developed by Tim, Marie and Ryan DeLong at our dining room table. When making hamburgers for dinner at home, we would frequently ask each other «Do you want DeLong’s DeLuxe?» which meant, do you want a Cheeseburger DeLuxe. That is our most popular burger and that is how our name came to be.

We are frequently asked why we do not have a drive-​thru. At a drive-​thru, your food is already in the wrapper or it is quickly assembled. We do not cook your burger, fries, rings, chicken, corndog, etc. until you order it so a drive-​thru was not conducive to the quality of food that we wanted to serve.

Business Owner

Tim studied business and project management in college and spent his career in public works. Today he spends his time honing the business that was a longtime dream, DeLong’s DeLuxe. He is also a Realtor. When not at DeLong’s you might find Tim at a golf course or on a pickleball court.
