Meet the Business Owner
Jim F.
Business Owner
Jim and his father Louie started the company in 1965 when he was in High School at Bear Creek. Jim has lived in the Denver area since he was five. He is married, father of four, step-father of one and grandfather of eleven!
Jim learned the landscape business from the bottom up, doing every job required in the business; marketing, bidding, sales, installation, repairs and invoicing. He eventually became a landscape architect.
During the time Jim and his father were starting and developing the company Jim also worked as a police officer.
In its early years, Fellet Landscaping was one of the only sports field landscaping companies in Denver. Consequently Jim and his father worked for the Denver Broncos, Evergreen Parks & Recreation and installed the original golf course at the Broadmore Hotel in Colorado Springs to name a few.
Lots of Jim’s spare time has been spent devoted to The Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster and Board member to the Denver Area Council’s High Adventure Camp.
