The previous review mentions something afoot at this location, and I concur, but am torn as to whether some of the things are good or not. I’ve been coming to this location as a virtual office for months. The atmosphere had, until recently, been pretty good, and quiet… but the owner of this franchise decided to add in a large LCDTV, and is almost always on, and too loud. Has ruined the atmosphere, in my opinion. They are also in the midst of obtaining a wine and beer license. In Lakewood. Is this even remotely a good idea? There has been some staff turnover. One of their most recent and longer-term employees left, and they are in the midst of hiring new gals, most of which so far aren’t terribly friendly(the one that left was great). Coffee and food is ok… nothing terribly amazing or glaring.

Hmmm. Something’s afoot with this branch of the Forza chain. We went in today and it seemed«different»…you know, how something can look the same and yet it’s not? Yeahhhhh… First off, I’ve never been to a Forza where there haven’t been a gaggle of women working behind the counter. Sure, there’s the occasional token male… but not usually. Not today: one barista, male. hmmm. Our drinks were different — my usual vanilla latte was fine, my daughter’s iced toffee was okay, but again different. My other daughters — connoisseurs of chocolate milk — said it was not good at all. Although friendly, service was slow. Pastries seemed different too. Again, I say«hmmmmm». If you’re looking for an exact Forza favorite, you may wish to skip this branch. In need of a quick espresso? It’s safe.
