Great Frontier has a wonderful atmosphere and the owners are super accommodating. The gluten free and gluten reduced beers were unlike any I have ever had and its nice to see more options in that realm. For those who say gluten free beer isn’t really beer haven’t tried Great Frontiers GF beer! I can’t wait to see where this place goes in the future!(I’m hoping I’ll be able to pick up a six pack in the grocery store in the future)

Great new brewery! No kitchen but they have a good selection of rotating food trucks. Their gluten free brews are also VERY good. Which is surprising as almost every other GF beer I’ve had has been awful. I had the Old Soul Scotch Ale and Willy’s Irish Red Mustache. Both were excellent. Staff was also very friendly. They are also dog friendly!(I wish a brewery would make something like Bowser Beer!) I will be back for sure, and I’m excited to see how they’re going to do.

A great new friendly brewery that is doing it right! It is a bit hidden on Oak Street southeast of the intersection of Kipling and Jewel in a building that used to be a muffler shop. One of the great benefits of that is that during the redesign they retained the big open«garage doors» that open up on these beautiful Colorado fall evenings to give a comfortable al fresco feel to the whole place. It is stroller and dog friendly as well. Another thing that makes makes GFB friendly is that there are only 8 beers on tap. Some place’s tap lists are so overwhelming that it is hard to make a choice. Yet there is a good enough variety that there is something for everyone and there will be new brews in rotation as the brew master sees fit. I just tried the new Scottish Ale that took the spot of my previous favorite, the Colorado Pale Ale. One thing that really sets this place apart is their tasty selection of gluten free and gluten reduced beers. Yes, that wasn’t a typo. A gluten free beer that tastes great! Apparently, one of them won the gold for best gluten free beer at the GABF. Being a brewery, not a bar/restaurant, they don’t serve food save a few bagged munchies. But they do welcome take-out or delivery from many of the restaurants in the area. Frontroom Pizza and Star Thai are 2 of my favs nearby. Additionally, they occasionally have food trucks come and serve. Being new and building up a client base they are currently only open Thursday — Sunday but well worth your time to sit a spell, try a taster set and take a growler home with your favorite. I can see myself becoming a regular!

We really wanted to like this brewery. It is just recently opened in a neighborhood where breweries a lacking presence. The location, layout and the the servers were all great, there just wasn’t many beers to choose from. Besides gluten free and reduced gluten varieties, there was about 4 – 5 beers total, and for many beer drinkers, gluten free beers are just not beers. It also doesn’t have food except for some pre-packaged chips and nuts, although they do allow you to bring your own. The beers were OK, interesting but not balanced, maybe the brew master is still fine-tuning his recipes. We may come back in a year when everything falls into place. It has potential, and we hope this brewery will mature into a local favorite we can visit often. when there are so many nano breweries and many of them brew exceptional beers, it is hard not to compare this brewery to the rest.

A great family ran microbrewery. The gluten free beers were slightly different than the«normal» beers but very good. The cream ale was great with a smooth finish & the brown was also good, my 2 favorites. Tonight was grand opening and they were pretty slammed but did a great job taking care of customers needs. The seating setup inside was very generous considering the size of the building and they also have seating outside. There is no food being served but you can buy bags of chips or pretzels for a $ 1 to cleanse the pallet and fill a small hole. Very well done and I’m anxious to see them grow their beer menu as they settle in to the business.
