Dropped off a pair of pants that needed a new waist button and a venerable pair of rei pants that the bottom had ripped out. For a total of $ 8 both were patched in a week. Can’t beat that! The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and I was glad to practice some english with him. Can’t speak about the cleaning but am glad to find a small bore alterations shop that charges reasonable rates.

I just love this place! The lady/Owner is Fantastic to work with! Very helpful, and actually remembers me each time I go in. I have taken my wedding dresses in, casual items, and a king sized damask comforter, all have been returned in perfect condition! Grateful to have them in my little neighborhood!

I have given Gung-Ho a few chances… They are horrible!!! I take my suits in and they come back the same as they went in!!! I would not recommend it!!! It is a waste of money!!!

I have been using Gung-Ho cleaners since I moved to the Belmar area several years ago. I should say, I’ve used them sparingly. I’m not really a dry-clean type guy. I’m also not really an ironing type guy, so I can’t really justify having clothes pressed when I refuse to iron them on a consent basis. Even so, I do have clothes that need to be cleaned on occasion, and Gung Ho is my go to cleaner. I admit to going in the first time for no reason other than the torii façade(You see, I’ve always really wished I were Asian). Yet, I continue to utilize their services because they are friendly, timely, convenient, and do good work. I’ve yet to have anything but a top notch experience at Gung Ho.

Time to find a new dry cleaner! Read my previous review, clean clothes, pressed clothes… yeah. Now they are failing to do these most basic tasks. I drop off my husbands khaki pants because they suck to iron. Yes I could wash and iron them at home but I would rather have someone else do it. Anyway, I drop off flat front pants with instructions of «NOCREASE» Guess what? The put creases in the front! Of two pairs! So of course we asked them to take the crease out, but that can’t be done. Even when they took it out you can still see that line forever burned down the front of the pants. UGHHHH! My husband travels a lot for work. This is a one hour dry cleaner. Yep, I double checked. One hour is on the front of the building, one hour is even in their NAME, yet I dropped off 4 shirts and one pair of pants to be laundered and pressed for pick up the next day and they are like«ooh, tomorrow? We can’t do that.» Ummm… what? Finally the lady checked with someone in the back and she told me she SUPPOSED they could get them done by 10 am. What happened to 1 hour? Here is the final straw. While packing for his upcoming trip the hubs unwrapped a pair of pants that were hanging in the closet from the last time. There is huge dirty splotches all down one leg. WTF mate!!! So, just so we are clear, clothes not clean, clothes pressed incorrectly and ruined and customers have to practically beg to have their stuff done on time? No thanks Gung-ho, that isn’t worth the convenience of a drive thru.
