Holistic Lakewood

I, too, was first acquainted with Holistic Lakewood by a Groupon but mine was for prenatal massages. I think I had about 6 done in 2014 during my pregnancy. I saw Paulette each time and she did a fabulous job. It was so helpful, especially right before my son was born. I still go to Paulette once in awhile. They run specials every few months so you can usually get a good deal on some massages. The street parking is fine.

I purchased a Groupon a long time ago & have been returning ever since. It is all due to Melissa Russo. I get the 1-​hour relaxation massage about once a month. I enjoy the relationship we have formed — she remembers my concerns, problem areas, etc. The massage beds here are the best I’ve seen & the music that plays is so relaxing that I play it at home as well. The lighting is nice & low, the massage oil they use smells amazing. I have no complaints. I will be frequenting Holistic so long as Melissa is there!
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I can only rate Melissa since she is the only one I see.

I had a 60 minute relaxation massage here today. I bought a Groupon, so it was for a discounted rate.
The massage was nice and relaxing, just like I wanted. The masseuse was very nice and knew what she was doing. The place seemed clean. Like the previous reviewer said, after the massage, they said I could come back x 3 for $ 35 dollar massages. That is a pretty good deal!
So, why did I give it three stars? No parking lot. Room felt a little small, not super updated. It felt a little stuffy in the building.
I would go back and I will possibly take them up on the $ 35 dollar deal but I can’t say it’s the same experience as going to a higher end spa for a massage.

Caressa did an absolutely amazing job! This was the best massage I’ve ever had! I bought a groupon and upon leaving she said I could come back again in the next month for the same price I paid for the groupon ($ 35) which I will absolutely do because that price is a steal! I think they only open for scheduled appointments so the door was locked when I got there, but she heard me and came out quickly. They scheduled my massage quickly and I feel absolutely amazing!

This is specific to the Therapeutic Massage. My Masseuse was excellent! Relaxing, just the right amount of pressure and knew tons of techniques. No complaints there. The only thing I think everyone should be aware about is the facility. The Biomat, not really a fan, but if people like it… why not!
So I believe the place was a previous Massage parlor prior to being Holistic Lakewood. The toilet room is VERY small, with a shared sink in the hallway. The rooms are not fully enclosed, so be careful if you are talking at all (unless you dont care). The massage table is a little stiff but that might be due to the place being new (Not really sure how long they have been open). There is no parking lot, must find parking on the street.
Another reason why I gave this only 3 stars is the difficultly of getting an appointment. So I went to this place because I had a group-​on coupon. Personally I was not sure if I was being dismissed bc I had a group-​on coupon but then it could be me. Nonetheless, I needed an afternoon to for my one-​hour massage session with a 30 minute Biomat. It was going to take a little over a month to get me in. So as my time was approaching, I found out that I couldn’t make the session. So I rescheduled with them and I would have to wait another month.
Now I dont want this to deter people from trying the place out. With regards to the facility, I should implore that this is most likely a new business. Therefore, I hope with their busy schedule, they will use some of their profits to either upgrade the place or get a better one. But if the facility does not matter and the masseuse does, then this place is golden.
