Worst ihop ever, it’s so small the wait to get a table takes forever, people are so rude there, the wait for the food is not worth it. Never coming back here again

Wife and I went to this IHOP at 5316 Lakewood Blvd., Lakewood, CA around 4:30PM Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. The place was about a quarter filled so we got seating immediately. The menu is loaded with different types of pancakes and egg dishes. But the dinner part of the menu is lacking. The wife ordered a patty melt with raw onions and onion rings $ 9.69. I ordered the senior turkey dinner $ 9.89. The restaurant was only about a quarter full but It took about 15 minutes for our food to arrive. The wife’s Patty melt was lukewarm the cheese was not melted and the meat and bread were extremely dry. The onion rings was too dark like they’ve been cooked in oil that wasn’t hot enough. Wife was extremely disappointed with her food. My turkey dinner came with a huge amount of half cook broccoli that also was cool. It was so cool and underdone I couldn’t eat it. The turkey was mostly scrap meat that was hidden under brown gravy. They must think their customers are too stupid to notice the poor quality of scrap turkey. Mashed potatoes small amount, bland with no gravy. The gob of dressing on the plate was pastie. The dinner also had a small plastic cup of cranberry sauce that was half full. As I was thinking we’re not coming back to this place again. My wife tells me «We are not coming back to this place again I don’t like it.» I have to agree with her. John M.

Food poisoning Alert! Me and my family went and breakfast there. We had banana and strawberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and hash browns. Less then 24 hours later my kids had bad diarrhea. I think it’s because they ate most of the eggs, me and my wife ate very little egg. I am never setting foot in this poisonous well of filth. You have been warned!!! Food poisoning Alert!

Probably one of the crappiest IHOPs I’ve ever been to. It’s super small, and they were out of about three things I tried to order. They also only had one color crayon for my kids. Pretty ghetto. The oranges on my salad were sour and bitter like grapefruit. A true methinks not.

WTFIMGOOD. HORRIBLESERVICE. HORRIBLEHORRIBLE F**KENSERVICE !! NEVERCOMINGHEREAGAIN!

This place is discusting! Zero stars is what they truly deserve. Long story short, I gave up on this restaurant on the 3rd time. I went about 3 months ago, I ordered the egg mushroom breakfast sandwich, it had a hair! I returned it and got my money back. I went back about two months later. My son and I ore red breakfast. I was almost done with my food but decided to open my sandwich to add salsa. To my suprise, nasty ass hair AGAIN!!! I left pist off. On July 24, my son graduated. We took the entire family for breakfast. I figured so many hair complaints, they must of changed some things around. AGAIN! HAIR!!! I’M SOOVERTHISRESTAURANT. THEYNEEDTOSHUTITDOWN.

Arrived around 9:30AM this Sunday morning ready for breakfast only to be greeted by a long line stretching out the door. We put our name in and were told our party of 3 would have to wait approx. 25mins to be seated. It ended up only taking 10mins :) Once inside, we were promptly attended to. Our server, Alex, was fantastic! He did an exceptional job even though it was extremely busy. Just the type of service you’d want with a bright smile! Still not understanding why this particular location has recieved an average rating of 2&½ stars? I give it a solid 5. Overall: Food was great, service was great, & I will definitely be returning. Thanks again Alex!

Came on a Thursday morning and it wasnt as busy as on weekends, but the service was bad, they didnt order our drinks until they came to order our food, and food took very long to arrive. Some hosts here have attitudes and dont even have a smile on their faces. I dont think i will visit this Ihop again.

This IHOP is conveniently located across the street from the Lakewood Mall for those who have a jones for some delicious pancakes. Looks and feels like a regular IHOP. Parking is decent. Better if you can arrive early. The wait for seating was 20 minutes(I came with 3 other friends). Service is good for the most part until we waited a while to give the waiter the money for the bill. The atmosphere was decent but had a mixed crowd from old people, families, whites, hispanics and a few ratchets. Food was the same as other locations. Within a 3 mile radius of nearby areas without an IHOP. The experience is better if you are with a group of friends or need to get a day’s worth of food. Will be back again.

We ordered the new york cheese cake pancakes, the fried chicken dinner and the chicken florentine crepes. All was good, it was lots of food. The pancakes were really fluffy… Restaurant was kind of small, it can get crowded really fast… service was ok…

Love this place over all others. The staff are super friendly and seating is always fast. I love going through the menu and taking a stab at something new each time. I just had the best omlette ever with juice and coffee. Price is aways reasonable and I personally feel ihop is a hidden gem when breakfast is a must

Worst wait time ever for breakfast. Party of two and waited an hour to be seated. Ridiculous. Very small restaurant. Definitely agree that they can use a facelift and friendlier service.

This iHop is poor! Service is terrible, silver wear was dirty, very un organized. This iHop will not accept some«iHop Corporate or emailed Coupons» and it will not accept coupons until after 2:00 pm. Yet, there is no posted sign stating their coupon policy. Very unfair to the customer.

This place can get pretty busy at times. I find it convenient for me to come here since I live not too far from here. I like there pan cakes better then Denny’s. They also got the crêpe, sandwich, omelette,… Give it a try when u near by.
