Special thanks to GM Binoy and his team at Jason’s Deli on Union Blvd in Lakewood CO! Stopped by today with my wife for lunch, got to meet many of the team members. Everyone was very nice as usual and the food was very good. As my wife put it as we were leaving, this would be a great Under Cover Boss location for one of there episodes… Thanks againg and we will see you soon.

Tried to go there with my 22 month old and 3 year old, but found out they would charge each kid $ 4.50 for the salad bar. I don’t mind paying that for the 3 year old since she’s over 2, though she eats very little. But, $ 4.50 for a kid under 2? You can’t take home food and he’d eat about $ 0.50 worth. Won’t return unless they decide to become family friendly.

So very disappointed. The customer service here is beyond bad. Being the usual go to delivery spot for corporate meetings we ordered box lunches for an off site meeting.(Order was placed the night before to assure that we were on the list for prompt delivery) Called the night before and the girl who tried to take the order was so preoccupied with anything other than the call had to be prompted for every step… address, delivery time and credit card! We called first thing the next morning to make sure the order was actually recorded. Reiterated the importance of the delivery time… assured it would be there on time. Waiting at the venue for the food delivery… no food so I call the location to speak with catering. Spoke to a woman who rudely said that they were running behind and they have a half hour window to work with. I said that we were never informed of this rule and if we had been we would have moved the delivery time up. She said oh well and hung up the phone. NOMORECORPORATELUNCHESFROMHERE!

Just spent $ 25 on Jason’s deli for two and all I got was really sick. It’s disgusting too because as I was eating I could feel it coming on, someone there is sick or their cleanliness is very poor. Very disappointed, avoid this place at all costs it will ruin your day!

Girl could not figure out how to get my card to work, she also did not know anything about the menu screwed up my order twice while I was telling it to her face and I ended up having to leave this terrible establishment before even getting to try or obtain my food.

The salad bar is the best reason to come here. You can get an unlimited action on it on the cheap. It is fresh, plentiful, and always fully stocked. The sandwiches are pretty good, and their soups are alright. But I just come here for a cheap lunch on dat salad bar.

How do you rate a restaurant that varies between 0 and 4 stars? A group of us ordered lunch for a meeting. One Reuben came with the meat plastic wrapper inside the sandwich … I have never seen that at a deli place. At the other end of the range, my Cuban pressed sandwich was decent — not Miami decent but not bad at all. I just can’t get myself to rate a place that leaves a full plastic wrapper in the middle of a sandwich higher than 2*.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Fairly busy, decent wait. I had a sandwich and chicken noodle soup. The sandwich was pretty good, but the soup wasn’t that great. My wife had a tomato soup that wasn’t great, either. They have a salad bar, though!

Went here with a group on a Saturday afternoon, the staff messed up on our order and the chef salad came out with the lettuce core in it, gross and unappetizing. This place used to be great for food and service, they seem to be missing the mark on both.

Their salad bar rocks… everything is crisp and fresh and the ranch dressing was delicious. Also ordered a half sandwich that was pretty good as well. Will go back just for the salad bar!

My husband and I ate here on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the club sandwiches which were dry and uninspiring, The price was too high for the sandwiches, We were hoping to find pastrami sandwiches here but we had no luck with that, We wish we would have eaten at the Subway next door for a better sandwich at a better price.

Salad bar is fantastic, soups are great too and sandwiches are better yet. I just moved to Denver and have found my go-to for a good meal after work when I can’t muster the energy to cook. Staff is super friendly here and helpful when it comes to recommendations. Our first time in they offered us all the muffins and ice cream we could eat. Love this place!

Jason’s is a national chain, and the Lakewood store has been here for a long time. They’ve fairly recently done a remodel/facelift and taken on additional space. It’s bright and pleasant, and there is quite a bit of patio seating on the south side of the store. A strength of this Jason’s store is that we have long found it to be predictable and consistent. Service has been predictably and consistently pleasant and fast. Food quality has been predictably and consistently good — doesn’t knock your socks off, but it’s always good and you always know what you’re going to get. Reuben the Great is always Reuben the great, every time I’ve had it. Sandwiches at Jason’s are good — don’t let the«Deli» label cause you to expect New York Deli-type sandwiches or you’ll be disappointed, but the sandwiches are still good. The strength of the menu, however, are the«other» items. The salad bar is good and is well-maintained. The soups are really good — the chili is a meatless Texas-style chili; the gumbo won’t make you forget New Orleans, but it’s a very respectable gumbo nontheless; and, the tomato basil soup is quite good as well. I haven’t tried the other soups, but I’ve noted that other Unilocalers have given high marks to others of the soups. The baked potatoes are huge, and the Muffaletta is one of my personal favorites — ham and salami, olive mix and melted provolone. Lots of possible permutations and combinations for you math wizards — add soup, add salad, half sandwich with cup of soup, etc, etc, etc. Most items are under $ 10 so the value is good, and as almost every other Unilocaler has commented on, who doesn’t love free, soft-serve ice cream(but I would appreciate it if Jason would provide bigger cones — my «mega-cone» gets pretty top-heavy with such a puny little base). I’ve also used Jason’s catering for business lunches several times, and they’ve always handled those well too. My last advice is to pick your times to go to Jason’s wisely. We go most often in the evenings or on weekends and have never had a problem, but know that they are very busy at lunchtime on weekdays — certainly not a surprise given their location across the street from St Anthony Hospital and along the very busy Union corridor.

Love this place. Super great quality for a sandwich shop. You might spend more here but that’s because they aren’t using the cheapest quality from their vendors. So you can deal with that or go to Subway. Plus free ice cream cone if you go in? Come on, you saved your two bucks by not going to Subway. I mean at least your not eating yoga mats. Ha I’m sure only a few get that food reference. But all serious, try the beefeater and thank me later. By the way it is going to be the best French Dip you have ever had. If not, almost I bet! I don’t wanna make that promise. Oh for you fish lovers! They have amazing salmon here and it is actual fillets and not that cafeteria glop.

Our fave go-to restaurant. My hubby lives salad bar, lots of high chairs for baby, and I like their soups — my fave is French onion and organic veggie, cheddar broccoli is good and chicken pot pie is okay. First bowl of soup is discounted with hubby salad bar and they honor 10% military discount. The salmon salad option is Alaskan Sockeye(not Pacific or farmed) for about $ 10. Very nice. Good food, nice people, lots of windows. Best part — this location doesn’t torture me with terrible 70’s music like the Flatirons one.

God, I used to be a Jasons Deli Junkie, but lately… well… It’s just OK. The French dip(or beefeater) is always good. My wife had a sandwich that she did not really enjoy. The gumbo was awful. One little rubbery something in it. Potato Chips were stale, and the whole potato chips on a plate thing is getting kind of old. Sat near the restroom. Ooops, our bad, but it smelled the entire time. It was hot in there in the wintertime. Store manager knew it, he said there was nothing he could do. OK, fine — I’ll slip into jimmy johns next time. Meh.

Jason’s Deli will always be known to me as the place that’s got THEBEST homemade chicken salad. Unless I was wrong, I remember it used to have pine nuts in the chiclen salad, but the last time I had it, it was almonds… Nevertherless, I enjoy the pineapple tibits they add in so much I’d keep coming back for that. Would love to find a copycat recipe! The way you can customize and make your own salad/sandwich is great, but I also wish they would feature more of their creations. I always thought the free frozen yogurt was a nice gesture even though I prefer soft serv somewhere else, it’s still Jason’s way of thanking their customers! Recently, I discovered another item worth coming back for, that is their fruit dip, a sour cream based concoction that’s very refreshing. For some reason I feel guilty dipping my fruits in it, so I did something even worse: dipping my potato chips in it and it’s amazing!
