I am so happy with my new glasses! I loved the team at LensCrafters! They were friendly, professional and so patient and helpful. They use all kinds of great new technology and these are the BEST glasses (progressives) I have ever had, and at a reasonable price. I love that they can be ready the same day. A young lady, Dashanna (I hope I spelled that right!) was so helpful and kind. I will go there from now on for all my glasses! Great group of people and great glasses!

terrible service … absolutely terrible! We needed lenses exchanged due to a mistake– their price was higher than when the lenses were bought with Tiffany frames! They were not willing to work with us, and on top of that the corporate customer service line never responded to my email. Costco changed the lenses for a fraction of the cost.

What a pleasant experience! The Lakewood team is on the ball. Friendly, fast, knowledgable and upbeat is how I would describe this location. From the shopping experience to the exam, fitting and 2 hour wait for my sassy specs, I couldn’t have asked for more. I highly recommend this location for all of your optical needs! Thanks crew for taking care of me today.

They either have too many new people or they are not very organized. I order my glasses and pay for them and they call me 3 days later saying the order did not go through because they forgot to get the security code from the card. They start to place the order and they say 10 days. I call 2 weeks later and they say the glasses are not ready they did the wrong ones so it will take another 10 days. If they did the wrong ones why didn’t they call to let me know. How can they find out it’s the wrong one when I called???
Wonder what’s next. They are expensive and worse customer service I ever had. Won’t return after this.

This LensCrafters Lakewood sucks! They don’t have a good customer service. I went their with my cousin a week ago and ask if they can do a re-​check of her Rx and they said straight to our faces that they can not help her and that she needs to go back to where she got her Rx done which is LensCrafters Newport Beach. We leave in Long Beach and Lakewood is 3 miles compare to 28 miles. I called Newport Beach LensCrafters and they said YES they could. All Lakewood LensCrafters has to do is to call Newport Beach to fax her chart. I went back to the receptionist and she told her Supervisor and she said okay they can do it. On the first, why does a customer has to go through that!!!
Lakewood LensCrafters called Yesterday Saturday November 29,2015 saying they understand she has to do a recheck but maybe can work something out. What’s that mean? Trying something what? All she needs is a re-​check maybe the reading is possible corrected!!! Too much magnifying!!! You know what I am saying!

I never really went here before because they didn’t accept my insurance. Because I am on a new vision plan, I decided to give it a try, but only because they had an appointment open the day after Thanksgiving. I have had trouble booking an appointment and finding a doctor’s office that would be open while I wasn’t at work. I was perfectly happy walking to the mom and pop shop down the street, but because they weren’t open (and I badly needed an exam), I went to Lens Crafters. I was honestly dreading it. I really didn’t want to go to some corporate mill. I was expecting unfriendly service and a long wait. I was also expecting for them to push me to purchase glasses there, even though I planned to do so somewhere else. I was also kind of scared of running into that Don guy from Serial. I really think that he killed Hae Min Lee. Anyways, the assistant (Giselle) was super nice and helpful. The doctor (Dr. Lam) was a pro. He was very friendly and thorough. He explained everything in detail. I didn’t have to wait at all and they didn’t give me the hard sell. Best of all, my insurance covered most of my exam and annual supply of contacts. Much of what they didn’t cover was taken care of by a Lens Crafters promotion. Woot woo. I hate malls, but I am going to venture to the Lakewood Mall once a year for this place. It’s worth it.

Came here as my contact prescription had lapsed. The girls were very friendly and accommodating. The doctors were very informative and friendly. I ended up getting glasses as well and was pleased how soon they were ready. Prices were decent and I will definitely be coming back.

Once again Dianna Giselle and this time Dr Lieu rescued my eyes! Last time I needed glasses because my eyes were all messed up and now because I need contacts for my up coming birthday! Thanks again to the Lakewood Center Lenscrafters team!

Got glasses for the first time today, staff is very friendly. Doctor was super funny. Only thing is I got black & purple frames… they gave me white and black lol not a big deal, I still love my glasses :)

I had a pleasant experience at this Lakewood Lens Crafters from picking out my glasses, assistance with my vision benefits, sizing etc and pick up the next day. The store is very clean and bright with a modern feel to it. Roxanne and Cheri took good care of me and were friendly. Roxanne was knowledgable and efficient with figuring out best price options and fitting. Cheri took her time with me at pick up with final adjustments. She encouraged me to try the sunglasses on outside to make sure everything ok and she didn’t hesitate to bring them back into lab to check on concerns I was having with them. I used my vision benefits for regular glasses and took advantage of a great sale on prescription sunglasses-​$ 115 for polarized sunglasses — frames and lenses total! I will be back for future needs. Thank you ladies.

Outrageously expensive. They wanted almost $ 300 to replace a lens that had fell out. They associate said since I had not purchased the replacement warranty I would have to pay the full amount. In addition, she said there was nothing she could do and picked up the phone in the middle of our conversation to schedule an appointment for someone else. I recommend finding another provider that is more customer centric.

I bought glasses to wear at work and picked them up less than a week ago. When I picked them up they adjusted them, but when I wore them at work I found they needed some minor adjustment. I finally was able to get back there after work today. One woman started the adjustment but had to go help someone else (?) and turned my adjustment over to a lab tech. He promptly told me they were not responsible if they broke when he made the adjustment. Very surprising statement since I had just picked these up less than a week ago — brand new — they can’t stand behind their products and staff to not break brand new glasses to the point they will make the customer pay for brand new broken glasses? Unacceptable … I was going to go back and buy more, but after this … NOT.

One thing I hate is when employees just stand there and look at me like I’m some kid who’s just looking around and not going to buy anything.
I came in with my brother and spent about half an hour in the store with zero signs of any help whatsoever. I’m in a wheelchair, and if it were not for my brother, I wouldn’t have not been able to try on a single pair. You’d think they’d be courteous enough to offer me help, but nope!
After over a half hour looking, I accidentally made eye contact with a girl there. She looked at me and half smiled, so I half smiled back. After a moment of EXTREME awkwardness, she finally said hi, so I said hi back. THEN… BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD OF EYEBALLS, she said «May I help you?»!!! FINALLY!!! FINALLY A SIGN OF LIFE!!!
«Yes please! I just came back from my doctor and got a new prescription and am ready to buy some glasses.» I said, in hopes of FINALLY getting some help… But my hopes were in vain!
«Oh, okay, well look around… Men’s are over there…»

This place is tough to beat! Ran out of contacts and had a bit of time to get my exam done. Called on a Friday at 3:30 and had an appointment at 4:40. Roxanne got me going as soon as I arrived and was very polite, quick and thorough. Dr Villegas was a pleasure to work with. Very patient and really cares to give you the best prescription while making sure your eyes are healthy. I had already checked 800 Contacts prices before going in and Lens Crafters gave me an even lower price for a year supply. Couldn’t be happier with my experience of this store, Roxanne and Dr Villegas. Great job guys and thank you for a quick and easy task of my list.

I’ve been needing replacement for my broken ancient frames and my husband told me he’s read great reviews at this location. We went and I explained that I needed new frames to fit my old lenses. The staff took their time to look for a similar fitting frame. Popped my lenses into the new frame and voila! We were outta there in less than an hour. A very satisfied customer. I’ve never been excited to wear my glasses. Fantastic customer service.

I hadn’t had an eye exam for many years, so I figured I was overdue. I was paying for the insurance so why not utilize it?
At various points throughout my experiences with this LensCrafters, I had to wait for extended periods of time. Other than that, the service was pretty good. I don’t mind waiting so long as I receive quality care from the doctor. I especially must complement the doctor, Danny Ngo.
After going through the gambit of eye tests, I finally met with Dr. Ngo. He explained to me that my eyes had not changed that much. He did, however, discover an infection in my right eye. He said it was nothing serious as long as we took immediate care of it. He sent me home with antibiotic drops and set up a followup appointment. I could not wear contacts for one week while my eye healed.
At the followup appointment, he said my infection had cleared up and I was good to go. He suggested contacts for an astigmatism for my right eye. I went home with a set of my new contacts, while the rest would arrive in the mail.
After wearing the new contacts for an astigmatism in my right eye, I discovered they were uncomfortable. I gave it a few days to ensure I wasn’t just having a difficult time adjusting to them. They weren’t working out, so I had to go back to see Dr. Ngo. I was stressing out, because I went from everything being all set to waiting and worrying again.
Dr. Ngo couldn’t have been more helpful. He immediately put me at ease and answered all of my questions in great detail. He said it was no problem, and changed me back to the non astigmatism contacts. He helped me change the order for my future contacts in the mail. I left the store worry free, and ready for my new contacts.
During my visits, Dr. Ngo was professional and informative. I learned that I am not supposed to use my contacts for over 2 weeks. I was under the impression that if I had certain days I did not use them, that meant I could wait an extra day before I needed to replace them. He used a great example: treat your contacts like a loaf of bread. If you bought a loaf of bread and didn’t eat any for two weeks, would you still consider the next piece you ate to be fresh?
I am at peace returning to see Dr. Ngo when the necessary time is upon me. I rate Dr. Ngo a 5/​5, but LensCrafters as a whole is too expensive. Overall a ⁴⁄₅.

I have vision insurance, but I haven’t used it, yet, so I’m looking to get a pair of Rx sunglasses. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the pair that I was looking for. I really wanted to try them on and see how much they’d be. It’s okay, though, as the employee I talked to was so helpful and friendly. He, also, had a idea to check out Sunglass Hut to see how’d they look on me, and then, I could always come back, get my prescription, and then, order them. (To be honest, I’m probably going to go somewhere else, as I heard LensCrafters charges too much. That’s why I wanted to check…)

This was my 1^st time at Lens Crafters and it wont be my last. brought my 7 year old son today for his 1^st eye exam and the staff here is super friendly. They made sure my son was comfortable. He ended up needing glasses. They have a wide selection on kids glasses. My son chose 3 pairs and then they had him try them on and took pictures to c wich one he likes best. Im so glad he was comfortable and wasnt upset on the fact that he has to wear glasses. Im sure it was because he felt welcomed by the staff. Best part of all they take my insurance and i didnt have 2 pay 1 single penny. It was all taken care of. Thanks lens Crafters for making my sons 1^st optometrist visit very pleasent. I will definitely be coming back for an eye exam myself. Wait time was excellent and my son ended up getting his glasses in less than 2 hours.

I went in to Lenscrafters only to get the eye exam, and was then going to purchase lens & frames with someone else. While waiting/​after the exam, I was browsing frames and had help from Miriam. The customer experience was so good I decided to buy from the store. I will be back.
I’m sure I can find the frames and lenses cheaper online, but it is the personal one-​on-​one that will keep me coming back. Plus, while I am generally patient, being able to pick up the glasses same day is nice.

Each time that I have come here (3 times withing the last 2 weeks), I have received excellent customer service. Came to get my glasses adjusted for free (all 3 times), and I never had to wait. Quick and friendly service, which I can appreciate.

I’ve used LensCrafters in the past for my eye exams and have always had a pleasant experience. This time was no exception. I had an appointment on a Saturday and expected it to be busy and have a bit of a wait. However, there’s was hardly a wait and I was in and out.
The sales people that helped me were Michelle and Griselle (I believe). They were both exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Michelle was friendly and seemed like she really enjoyed her job. Kudos to those two! Dr. Daniel Lieu was also wonderful. He was thorough, explained things well, and was very personable. He’s awesome!
