A small but well stocked store with friendly and attentive salespeople. I stopped in looking for a barrel nut for my most recent ar15 build but they were all out. I’ll be back for other items in the future.

Great people and a phenomenal selection. No cheesy people pushing sales on you or making you feel dumb when you ask questions and I appreciate that as I love to learn about all the different options that they have!

Great gun selection. Huge supply of firearm accessories. Gun rentals are sweet. I like how they had a lot of guns for conceal carry. The place was very crowded when I was in there with my girlfriend. No one even greeted us or asked us any questions. Maybe next time I will stop by and hopefully get an AK if they have one in stock.

Being a business owner myself, I understand the difficulty in pleasing 100% of the customers 100% of the time. That being said MGT has always treated me fairly and professionally. I have made several purchases and was happy with the guidance given each time. I mentioned to a staff member that I had been looking at HK Mark 23, but was still undecided. About 1 hour after I left the shop, the employee called me and said Alan had a line on a brand new Mark 23, for $XX, if I was interested. The following day I picked it up, NIB at a really good price. I haven’t been around a more knowledgeable staff, they have my complete confidence.

Walked in ready to purchase. They had about 5 employees engaged in private conversations with each other behind the counter. They ignored me while I waited staring at them as they discussed exactly where they would be getting breakfast burritos and what type for about 5 minutes. I finally became impatient and interrupted their conversation to let them know I had actually walked into their store to purchase what they sell. I believe they studied the comic book store owner from the Simpsons for their sales technique, one of the younger employees actually loudly scoffed when he heard which firearm I was there to purchase, I guess it wasn’t up to his standard. The price was about 15% higher than other stores, but it was difficult to find so I didn’t mind. The store is easy to find and has a great selection, however the management should train his staff to greet customers and be polite (or at least not openly rude), this is simple customer service. I would not buy here again.

I’ve been in this store a lot over the last couple of years. I’ve purchased a few «big ticket» items from them and tons of parts and accessories. They are competitive in their pricing but they also carry a lot more of the higher end items than most places, which is where my taste for gun powder lies. They have the best selection of loose parts that I’ve found in the metro area. While some may not find the staff always in the friendliest of moods, you can always find someone that is willing to help you out. They also have a very good gunsmith who is great when it comes to the AR platform. Can’t wait to try out a couple of their tours.

Quick point: The staff is VERY low key. They will ask you once if they can help. After that, when you’re ready, ask anyone a question and they’ll gladly spend all day with you. Do not confuse leaving you alone for not wanting to help.
I’ve purchased 1 firearm here, as well as some ammo and accessories. I’ve always been treated well, including a problem that was fixed completely drama-​free.
Owner Alan Samuels comes across some good buys and passes the savings along when he can, but he may not always have the best price on what you’re looking for. However, it’s always worth it to come in and ask.
It’s a clean, well lit shop in a business park, easy parking, and easy access from Colfax east or westbound.

Ive bought a few guns from MGT, as well as done a 5 gun tour. Overall had a very good experience. You wont find another gun selection like this in town.
I like their service, someone will generally ask if they can help you and if you tell them you are just looking they go back to what they are doing without bugging you. Ask for help and they will spend an hour or more with you.
Prices are better in other places on the off the rack stuff, but you can get items and advice at MGT that no one else has. If the prices were better I would have given them a 5, but I know what I want and where to buy it. If I were looking to get into tactical weapons, suppressors or unique guns this is the place to do it, and the slightly higher price is well worth the guidance and advice.

This is hidden gem of gun stores! I have been to many gun stores in Denver but I recently checked out machine gun tours and I will tell you that it has taken my heart. If you like guns, it’s like candy land! They have an incredible selection of guns, ammo, and accessories. The employees there are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If you ever have any questions or need help, just ask and someone would be more than happy to help you. In my experience, this is a rare quality to find. I would encourage anyone that is interested in guns, to go look at there selection. If by chance, they do not have the item your looking for, they will do what they can to get it for you. Once you go there, it will forever be your first and only stop.

Relatively friendly staff, great selection, competitive prices. All around good shop. Continently located near Colfax and 470. Went in to see what the prices were on some of the SCAR 17 and Noveske AR’s, guns are priced very reasonably. However some of the parts are deffinetly marked up, which is ok because no other shops have that selection anyway. Great ammo selection, relatively small amounts of gear or appearal and a wide variety of magazines.

The real test for a company is when they make a mistake. It is truly an opportunity to demonstrate great customer service.

I wanted to thank Machine Gun Tours and especially Kyle, who helped me in every way and helped me make an informed decision in purchasing my first Colorado handgun, the FN-5.7. We took it to the mountains and let me tell you. It’s the firearm of the future. Thank you Kyle, you really took the time for us to do it right. Now you and your company are the only firearms dealer, I trust or for that matter anyone else should either. And less expensive I might say. Don’t waste ur time, like I did with other dealers, go here first. Kyle, Because of you. I’m going to come back for an AR next.

I became a new owner of a PPQ through another dealer, and was looking for some 9 mm Luger ammo, since the dealer didn’t have any in stock. I came to MGT because it is very close to my home, and found a much better price than I expected for a box of 50 rounds. The staff, despite all the negative comments on here, were helpful enough to be friendly, but not so «helpful» that they were pushy. I merely had to wait for the guy at the counter to finish helping another customer, and he helped me find what I was looking for (Turns out, I was standing almost on top of it). I will be back for most, if not all, of my ammo needs.

Low sales tax and helpful staff. Some of their rates can be bested elsewhere.

High prices, no service, bad attitude, sorry I disturbed your nap… will not go back!

Went down here to check out the place after seeing some pictures on facebook. Though they did have a decent stock of rifles, EVERYTHING in the store was overpriced. They were selling 525 packs of .22 for $ 50.00, and $ 60 PMAGs. Gouging in this climate is a surefire way to lose a customer. The staff was somewhat helpful, didnt ask if we needed help we had to go grab their attention at the counter. There are plenty of other places to buy these items, give them a try first.

The best place in Denver metro to purchase a gun! Lower sales tax and experts willing to help you pick the right gun. Several gunsmiths on staff too. DB must have had a attitude??? I have always been well treated.

Diverse collection of black guns, but horrible staff. They are able to ignore you by playing games on their phones or shooting the breeze with each other while you’re 5 feet away. Happened numerous times and when you ask them advice they seem put out. Back to 5280 for me.

Professional, knowledgeable, great customer service… I have done a lot of business with MGT this summer and have nothing but good things to say. I usually wait a while to right a review on a business to be accurate but I can tell you that I would have written this same review from day one. They have a wide selection of tactical firearms and accessories including class 3, ammo, CCW classes, and what else… MACHINE GUN TOURS!!! Who doesn’t want to shoot a machine gun? I have yet to do one of these tours as I spend most of my money on my personal firearms. The tours range anywhere from $ 210 to $ 850. You can shoot anything from a suppressed .22lr pistol to a .50BMG to just about any fully auto anything if you can afford the amount of ammo you will be belting out. Their firearm prices are good, what you would expect. It looks like they also have a selection of firearms that you can rent also. This is a good option because you can try out several different types to find out what is for you prior to investing in a firearm of your own. I have also used their gunsmithing services just for a couple of minor things. Everyone I have dealt with has just been super cool but not too cool for school.
