History

Established in 1993.

McNurlin & Associates, P.C. was established by Don McNurlin over 20 years ago. The Firm has been based in the Littleton/​Lakewood area for its entire existence. In 2009 the Firm brought on a 2^nd partner and has continued to grow as a resource for the accounting needs of all individuals, nonprofit organizations, homeowner associations and small businesses.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Don started his own practice in 1987 as a Certified Public Accountant; in 1990 this practice merged with M. James Sealock. In June 1993, the merger was dissolved and what is now McNurlin & Associates, P.C. was formed.

Don spent four years as treasurer of Blackgold Energy Resources Inc., an oil and production company, responsible for financial and tax matters for Blackgold and several affiliated companies. Prior to that, he worked for five years in the audit department of Fox & Co., a national CPA firm where he audited both public and private companies.

Don graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He holds a CPA certificate in Colorado and is an active member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also participated in a number of organizations devoted to small businesses and non-​profits and has volunteered in numerous youth athletic orgs.
