Mediators are an excellent alternative to divorce lawyers, court rooms and judges, for many reasons. One important way is costs. Attorneys charge thousands of dollars to retain their services and that’s just the beginning. Insecurity of not knowing how much a divorce costs could break down the Mediation process and that would work against us. So we decided to charge one flat fee and the money stays in your pocket.

In 1983, I couldn’t afford a divorce attorney and after searching for help at my local courthouse, I found out its illegal for anyone to answer questions as its considered «legal advice».

Some courts offer an option to stand in long lines to learn how to fill-​out your own paperwork. But, if they don’t get to you by closing time, you may return the next day and try all over again.

In 1985, I started a new job at Jacoby & Meyers and took advantage of their on the job training at a very busy family law firms.

Since that time, I’ve enjoyed helping people that need help getting thru the filing requirements at court. Mediation is the most beneficial form of help available today. I offer Mediation for one low flat fee and offer mobile services in the entire State of California.
