First off, what kind of Mexican restaurant runs out of rice? Then, the waiter seemed annoyed that we came in late 9:10 because they were closing at 10:00. He forgot our chips and guacamole dip. Then, when the food was brought out it was super greasy and gross. The waiter forgot to bring my daughter her ketchup and I had to bug him for it. She had a burger and fries.

Horrible food. Bad service. Chips were stale. Everything just tasted like old rotten food. Our server was an a******.

I eat at Mis Tres Amigos a lot because it’s close to where I work, and it has been more or less pretty good. The food is usually good, although it sometimes comes out cold. The service is hit or miss — some of the wait staff spend a lot of time socializing with coworkers in the kitchen. Overall, it’s decent Mexican food and worth a try.

Ate here the other night! It was crazy crazy busy. I love the chips, salsa, and cheese dip. We had to wait a long time on our food, so I’m not sure how good my dinner was because I didn’t eat it all. The burrito was probably my favorite. The enchilada was pretty bland. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chile rellano. I will have to try it again on a less busy day. The service was good from the staff. It was just really busy. Great Mexican food has been hard to find in Tacoma. I think most places here lack flavor.

The reason I love coming here is the people. Genuine, nice, and they do a great job! The food is really good, and my favorite is the Chile Colorado. My wife loves the Spinach Quesadilla. I have also had enchiladas, the tacos, and the Carne Asada. If you are looking for well made Mexican dishes, along with GREAT service, visit soon. Oh, and the Cadillac Marguerites are phenomenal.

My meat was cold, and they heated it up and gave it back to me! Really??? My wife’s burrito should have been called a salty beef burrito. I think it could have killed a slug. The 1st sangria was good, but the 2nd was really watered down.

Best Mexican food in the area. Our family has been eating at Mis Tres for years. It’s nice to be served by a family owned business that cares this much about the quality of service and food they prepare. Only con is you have to know to request the green salsa. Their salsa is the best!

This continues to be my favorite restaurant in the Lakewood /Tacoma area. In my opinion they have the best Margaritas anywhere. Juan counties to be my favorite server. This family own and operated restaurant has the best Hispanic food anywhere. You really need to come and enjoy it!

I took my mom here on May 16th before heading to Seattle and then the airport. We both got the chicken fajita special and were pleased. We visited the Starbucks coffee roasting plant and then headed to the airport. My moms flight was delayed so she was texting me and by the time her plane was ready to take off she was fully experiencing food poisoning. It took about another hour for me to feel it but I was up till 4 am sicker than I have ever been. When I looked on here to see if we were the only victims sure enough we weren’t … I have eaten here a hundred times but I won’t be back!

This place has decent Mexican food. The servers are very quick and tentative, we have been seated quickly every time and when we order it to go it’s ready in a reasonable amount if time. I love that they have sweet tea which is unusual but awesome. I have 4 stars because I’ve had better Mexican, but this place is still not bad.

Got the chicken fajitas. They were okay but by the time I finished eating almost all of it I found an old french fry in my food. Totally grossed me out. Also asked for more chips and salsa and never got it. Won’t be coming back because I was up almost half the night with food poisoning.

Been a long time customer. The food is good enough I keep going back but it’s not not great. The service has always been stellar and I will continue to go back.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now. The food is always good, the portions are huge, and the drinks are strong. They bring you two kinds of salsa, and both are spicy and delicious. I would give this place four stars if we always had the same server(I can’t recall his name, but he looks about 35, and is there almost every night). Unfortunately, a few of the other servers, that appear to be high school-age family members, often come across as if they don’t want to be there. Service can also be on the slow end. Still love this place, and will be back many more times.

Food is pretty good there! Chips and salsa are definitely my fav… Service isn’t always the greatest! I came in at 830pm one evening, instead of telling my friend and I they are closing at 9, they said nothing and a lady came over very rudely literally a minute or two after we got our food with boxes and said they’re closing! Would be 5 stars if they had a lil better customer service and staff wasn’t so unfriendly and short…

Kind of disappointed with this restaurant. Pricey, customer service was lacking, I wasn’t greeted when I entered the restaurant and stood there feeling awkward for a few minutes. Food came out quick. Guacamole was yummy. Just threw me off when they came up to my table and sharply said«what do you want».. Rice and beans were substandard but still edible. The workers argued amongst themselves and created a tense environment. Hopefully they can improve their customer service and maybe we will come back.

Let me start by saying I love this place! But, tonite it took over an hour to get food snd there was no wait to get a seat! For 7 adults and one baby! Food was good as usual just took way too long!!! Two stars for service! Food would be 4 ish! Don’t understand why! it wasn’t that busy!

First off, the manager or owner(old lady) was rude. it seemed like she didn’t wanna take anymore customers The food was alright. a little overpriced for what it is. The bathroom was in no bueno shape and was missing papertowels… after reading other reviews i guess this is the norm. Also, we were charged with a drink we never had. I would probably return if it wasn’t for the bad service. Luckily there are like 500 other Mexican restaurants nearby.

On one hand — big portions, free chips. On the other — Food isn’t stellar. Chicken could’ve been higher quality, no mild/green salsa, etc. On one hand — nice family history. On the other — our server seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t give me the«special» price listed on the board. On one hand — nice decorations. On the other — freezing cold temperature and just a general«cold» feeling(not comfortable). Plus the bathrooms aren’t well-kept. Please improve things Mis Tres, my bf loves you… and that means I’ll probably be back. :/

Do you find yourself with a hunger for authentic Mexican Food? While we’re at it you might as well acquire the best Margarita in Tacoma and Pierce County. Look no farther, I have done the painstaking research. The original Mis Tres Amigos! My family and I have been going here for 20 years and the quality has never changed from this family owned and operated restaurant. Don’t be fooled by fancy buildings that require high overhead and prices that show it. Mis Tres is clean and friendly and the wait staff is very attentive. This restaurant fills up fast but the food and drink is well worth any wait. Next time you’re hungry for Mexican cuisine try Mis Tres Amigos! I personally like this place. Its never that packed. They are fast, and really friendly. The margarita’s are strong though, so be careful. Don’t drink and drive.
