Motorado – Used Motorcycles

Here is my experience with Motorado. Everything started great, after months of shopping around, I found the Harley that I wanted. It was a 96 Softail and looked sharp, sounded great, I bought it. Temp tags on and I was ridin, until it started firing on one cylinder. I took it in to my mechanic, and after spending over $ 400.00 and two takes in the shop, it was repaired. It had the wrong plugs installed, and the ignition was faulty, actually, it looked like a 5^th grader installed it the way all the wires were hanging out and pieced together. I called Motorado and told them what happened, they offered to pay half, seemed okay with me, but then didn’t hear back. Once again I am riding, this time Im stuck on I-​25 with a broken clutch cable, called them back a little more frustrated with a bike I paid cash for less the two– three weeks ago, is spending more time in the shop than on the road, they came rescued me and took care of the clutch cable. Now comes the good part… My temp tags are about to expire, no word yet of the title, I call, and since this is NOT a dealership, you are dealing with a 3^rd party for the previous owner, who apparently had it titled in AZ and had two liens on the title. I would think when selling a vehicle all that would be taken care of. This goes on and on, the state of CO was nice enough to renew the temp tags, not once, or twice, or even three times. (If you pay cash for a vehicle, you dont get an extension) It came to the point where I was no longer given extensions and the bike sat in the garage for a month because the tags expired. After about 7 months, I finally get the damn title and register the bike. Apparently the previous owner said the bike was in tip top shape, with only 13,000 miles on it, I would expect some wear and tear for its age, but since I have had this bike, I have dumped a lot of money into to keep it road worthy. I dont know if the previous owner was an amateur electrician, but the things I have found on this bike are questionable. I’m not going back, I will spend more money for less hassle and time somewhere else. I was never offered anything for the time lost not being able to ride, I didn’t ask either, I just started shopping for attorneys, since they got paid, and I was without the product. Shop at your own risk.

I wouldn’t choose anywhere else when buying or selling a used motorcycle! I was set on a new bike, and the process was flawless when I was ready to buy, hassle free, friendly staff. John did an amazing job with helping me out, and bonus I get to sell my bike too! I will recommend Motorado to all my riding friends. This place has truely great deals!

These guys were great. Started out working with a dealer and went here on a recommendation from a friend. Saved about $ 5,000 on a bike that was 3 years old and in great shape. The salesmen know what they are talking about and do a great job. The moron who left a negative review obviously has never dealt with a consignment shop before. They don’t do test rides because they don’t carry the insurance of a big dealer. I’ve never seen a shop like this flip you the keys to a $ 10,000 motorcycle and say have fun. Highly recommend this shop and will probably be back.

I worked with this shop on a consignment of a dirt bike. Awesome experience. They seem most interested in doing the right thing, even when it cost them a little money. Big props for being good guys in a business that needs more of them.

I’m not sure if I’m going to the same shop as the rest of these people. Here are my reasons of why I’ll never deal with this place or recommend it to others.
First, this is not a dealer, it’s a consignment shop. They don’t own any of the bikes so good luck haggling on a price.
Second, if you want to test ride a bike you must buy it first. Yes, I said buy it. They then put a clause in the contract that says you have 30mins to test it. Sorry not buying something then test riding it. Never ever have I done a deal that way.
Third, their attitude leaves a lot to be desired. The salesman was nice until I showed skepticism at their test ride process then he flipped me so much attitude I felt like punching him. Sales 101, don’t interrupt your customer and tell him he needs to be quiet and listen to you then talk. Yes that’s exactly what I was told when I said I wasn’t comfortable with buying a bike then riding it.
The only reason it wasn’t one star is they did have a pretty decent selection and the prices were on par with other shops. If they weren’t so inflexible about their sales process and rude they would have made a sale that day. As it stands, I’ll never be back.

I had a great result buying from Motorado. Saw some stuff on Craigslist but at the end of the day their selection was compelling and their sincere hospitality unequaled. I feel like I got a good deal on exactly what I wanted, and everybody was happy. There is nothing the least bit shady about this place, they are a family that loves bikes as much as you do. I stopped at Motorado with a friend who was looking at an Italian Sportbike. There were two people working when we visited — a nice guy out on the floor, and an equally nice lady at a desk up front. We BS’d about travel, bikes, and dogs and in the end my buddy picked up a sweet Aprilia. If I lived in Colorado I could see myself using them to consign a ride as well as a great spot to pick up something used. Well done!

It’s hard to believe anybody would give this place less than 5 stars. My experience here was nothing short of excellent. The owners were incredibly accommodating and the entire staff was easy to talk to. Whether you are in the market for a Harley to a Snowcat, Motorado has you covered. The website alone completed this as a hassle free experience. And they finance! The shop is clean and the bikes were all in great shape. In less than 24 hours since my purchase, I have told everybody I know to forget the big box dealers and head to Motorado and support a fantastic local business!

Great selling experience! I worked with Motorado to sell both my Harley Davidsons with them. The experience was completely painless, even easier than I expected. And to my surprise both bikes were sold within 2 weeks!

If you’re looking to buy a motorcycle or selling one, go to Motorado… they’re very good folks! They sold my Harley at the net price we discussed and all parties had a win-​win-​win experience. If Craigslist has given you everything but a sale.. let Motorado take your bike on consignment. Five Star Recommendation!

Love this place. Great place to get a great deal on a used motorcycle. Bikes are clean, very fair prices and the owner is a super nice guy that really loves what he does and it shows. check um out!!!

Great shop to buy and sell bikes. Just picked up a bike there, and dropped off one to sell. All around a good experience, financing was easy, and Ron is friendly and upfront.
