Nancy’s Cleaning Service

I purchased the 2 hour cleaning back in September and she has not returned calls after not showing up a the scheduled appointment. A total waste!

I purchased a Groupon for this company and upon first calling, told me it would be 2.5 months until she could come to clean (!) When scheduled day finally came, she called half an hour after she was supposed to be here and said she would be late. Then after about another hour, called and said she wasn’t coming at all.
She (and a helper) came the next day (20 minutes late), and immediately complained about the tasks I had for them to do. Nancy poured way too much cleaner on my stove and ruined one of the burners– I had to have a repairman out to get it fixed. They stayed for one hour and got about ¹⁄₃ of the work done that I had asked for.
I would not recommend this company– they need to get better organized before offering mass deals, because they clearly can’t handle the higher volume of business.

I too purchased a Deal Chicken deal for 2 hours. While I admit that the phone wasn’t answered right away, you have to expect that with a locally owned small business. I’d rather get a call back the next day than set an expectation for her to stop cleaning in order to answer everyone’s call; I feel like my time of paying her would be wasted.
While she was busy the date I originally wanted, we found another date. Not only did they show up (two of them, so it got done even faster!), but they called a few hours before their time to see if they could come earlier than planned. This actually worked out way better for me, and they showed up about 10 minutes later than the new time, but got to work right away. They stayed a few minutes more than the time paid to make sure everything got done, and really did a great job, including corralling all of our dozens of cat toys.
I’m not sure if we’re the type of folks to need monthly cleanings, but if we ever decide we are, I would absolutely call Nancy and get set up with her business. Certainly not as fancy or machine run as some of the huge companies who have answering services, but she does a great job, and it supports local business.

I purchased a DealChicken for 2 hrs of cleaning with Nancy’s Cleaning Service. It took forever to reach someone to book an appointment. The time of the appointment they called and said they would be late. Then later they called and said they had to reschedule. At the rescheduled time NOBODY SHOWED UP OR ANSWERED MY CALLS! This is an unreliable business. I would not trust them one bit.
