Decent food. Fun atmosphere. They really try to put out good food with a wide selection.

I can not find anything wrong with this place. The food is interesting and very good. The staff is amazingly friendly. You get a clear impression they want you to love the experience not just eat there. The décor is rock n roll album covers covering 90% of the walls with the occasional poster mixed in. They have a juke box in the corner with free plays. The selection is only rock and roll and you’ll like it. The owner wanders around talking to each table nearly every time I am there. Just making sure you’re happy. Kids get a free cupcake/cake/cookie with every visit. They have a reward program where you earn $ 5 for every $ 50 spent. Free money for eating kick ass food seems like a win to me.

This place is neat. My husband and I split a Polish, Chicago style, and the macaroni-and-bacon side. Let me start by saying that the pretzel buns are amazing(where can we get them?) and the selection of special sauces was a nice touch. Also, the side was delicious and I definitely want to try the others. The Polish, however, tasted kind of strange — even my husband thought so(after finding a small bone in his bite). Not rancid or anything like that… just different than any other Polish I’ve had… probably the spices. It wasn’t awful, just not a taste I prefer. Irrespective, I’ll definitely be back. it’s clear Rock-N-Dogs takes pride in their establishment and their food. I’ll update when I try it again.

Easily the best hot dogs on the southwest side of town. If you want a dog that is NOT your typical standard fare; then this place is for you! The BBQ dog on a pretzel roll with coleslaw and onion rings is awesome! Larry, the owner, recently added pizza to his menu and it ranks up there with his wide array of unique offerings. I tried his recent ‘experiment’, The Great White Buffalo and was totally blown away — Smoked Gouda and Mozzarella with Buffalo Cheddar Jalapeño sausage makes this an incredible paring of flavors. As others have noted here, they offer many different sauces that can really enhance the flavor of food that is already top notch! They should be serving their own brewed beer soon — keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates. The atmosphere is really laid back with a music themed décor and a jukebox pumping out mostly classic rock with some newer stuff tossed in. Give Rock-N-Dogs a try and you will not be sorry. It’s not just hot dogs — check out the pizza and burgers too!

Stopped in here on Aug 1 after noting the 5 Stars from other Unilocalers and was not disappointed. Certainly worth a stop if you are after a dog and some fixings at what seemed to be very reasonable pricing. The deco is also pretty cool as there are old 33 vinyl album covers on the wall. My rough estimate was that I might have had 15% of them in a box in my basement. Give it a try after next week if you want an adult beverage to accompany your selections. A liquor license was about to be granted so washing down the dog with a good libation is about to complete the experience here. As noted by others, the vast array of ketchup and mustard makes having a different taste sensation with every bite possible. I had the buffalo-jalapeño sausage on the pretzel roll — top notch stuff and had the potato salad as a side. Others at our table had cole slaw with a uniform praise of «this is really good, just the right amount of sauce without being too juicy». We will be back!

While there have recently been a large number of hot dog shops opening around Denver(most of them being pretty good), Rock-N-Dogs is exactly what such restaurants should aspire to. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the menu very interesting with many different toppings and varieties of sausages, and a very pleasant dining room in which to eat. I ordered a Bleu Suede Cajun Sausage(which came topped with blue cheese, green onion, sliced hard boiled egg, and sriracha) which sounds weird, but was absolutely amazing. The one thing that really pushed this from a good solid 4 stars to a perfect 5 was the huge variety of homemade ketchups to choose from. Be sure not to miss the Namaste ketchup which is a delicious curry flavoured sauce.

My hotel is right around the block from this place. Saw the 5 stars rating so giving it a try. Deco is fun and food is awesome. I order the Chicago dogs and really love it. They made their sausage and is not greasy at all… I am soo looking forward to go back to Denver and give it a second try. Keep up the great work guys!

I love eating. It makes me happy. Unless I eat too much then I’m not unhappy, just slightly less happy. Another Unilocaler brought Rock-N-Dogs to our attention, and after reading all of the reviews we decided to go there for lunch yesterday. Never having been before I wanted to try so many items on the menu but finally went with the NY style and the Coney style dogs. Plus an order of tots. The food, the owner, the staff, the décor, the atmosphere were all great! But word to the wise… just get one dog! Two dogs and half a plate of tots later I was soooo full! I couldn’t eat dinner yesterday! And dinner is like… one of my three favorite meals of the day!

I have only eaten here once thus far, but it will not be the last! We went in on a whim and it was one of our best ideas yet! I had the German brat on the pretzel roll, and I must say… I may never eat another plain hot dog bun again! They have tots, which is always a nice change of pace from fries and they have Sprecher soda! I haven’t had a Sprecher since I left Milwaukee 4years ago and it really topped off the meal! My husband and I met the owner while we were there and he was so excited about his product, it makes you want to support the business even more! We chatted about the midwest and, of course, cheese curds came up… he was as much of a fan as I am and if he ever figures out how to make them, I may not eat at another restaurant again:)

As good as it gets. As someone who lived in Milwaukee(US capital of Bratwurst), ate several Chicago dogs in Chitown. I believe I have the proper Bratdentials to say that this place is the real deal. It comes down to ingredients, and everything here is fresh/custom. Add in a nice variety of items to choose from and a great staff and you can’t go wrong. I’m not new to the Pretzel Roll/bun, but it is done very well here. Has the right amount of softness and flavor. I can’t wait to come back and sample the rest of the menu. We had a nice talk with Larry and his enthusiasm for searching out good ingredients and experimenting with new flavors leaves me no doubt that this place will only improve as it grows…(if he can figure out how to get squeaky deep fried cheese curds I will petition Unilocal!for a 6 star rating)

What can I say? There isn’t one thing I’ve had here that I didn’t enjoy! So thrilled that they gave me a punch card, further confirms that I need to come back again and again! :-) The level of customization they let you do is incredible. I’m not a fan of blue cheese so I tweaked my Wedge Salad to be without the crumbles and blue cheese dressing, instead I asked for vinaigrette, it’s probably raspberry flavored vinaigrette or something like that because it was wine colored. And I love that they chilled it before serving. It’s a huge salad loaded with bacon bits, which created an excellent contrast with the sweet-tangy dressing! The dogs are consistently good, doesn’t matter what topping or link you choose. But the pretzel roll upgrade is a must, trust me! I was told they made everything here including all the sides, so far I’ve had the fries, tater tots, and onion rings. The rings are by far the best, not just of all the sides here, but really the best onion rings out there(they’re beer-battered)! The BBQ beans, OMG, the chef is smart to cook them with meat(pork belly or something as I found pieces of shredded pork with fat in it, yum!) which taste so much better than just plain old BBQ beans. We also asked for a basket of Garlic Parmesan Wings, on the menu it says half a dozen, but I swear I found 7 wings in my basket! :-) Larry, the owner came out and greeted us again and gave us free«Sugar Sticks», they’re like cinnamon churros. He said they’re planning to roll this item out pretty soon. I simply cannot wait to come back and try other items and be amazed! LOVE Rock-N-Dogs!

Loved it, but normally this would have been a four star review from me until I had a chance to try it out a few more times. What gave it that 5th star was the ultra cool owner and his obvious passion for wanting to serve up the best eats possible. He talked to us about things he was going to try on the menu, let us sample new items, and even asked for input on things we thought would be good additions to his already fairly extensive menu. The great reviews are real. I so suck at names but I believe his name is Larry? is gonna do well and hopefully the next time I head over here, I’ll be waiting in line for a table! Support small biz-ness peoples!

We had a UYE here tonight. I was so excited to see a UYE here as I have never been and was excited to give it a try. I arrived promptly at 6pm, our meeting time was delighted to see the décor and be welcomed by a young girl behind the counter. Monica L came out to greet and give me a bit of a run down on the menu and whats good and in-house made. I decided to run with a Detroit Coney Style dog with Red Lion Inn style coney sauce(bean-less chili) with onion and cheddar cheese. Decided on the macaroni and bacon salad at the suggestion of Monica L. Sat down with my fellow Unilocalers and waited two shakes for my food to arrive. Looked beautiful and served promptly, the perfect size I believe, just right as Goldie Locks would say. Now for the bonus track! The owner was very chatty which I like and he was describing all sorts of things. They introduced pizza on the menu and he just changed the pizza sauce for the better, he let us taste the difference. Free order of the new addition to the apps menu, garlic knots — chewy and garlicky, spot on for flavor and texture. He said he put a vote out there and people prefer chewy garlic knots rather than crispy. Good to know for the future. He was talking all about the menu and playing with recipes and developing new specials. He was like one of the family. Back to my dog(food not pet) experience, the Coney Style dog was simple and the ingredients were in well proportion to the bread and dog. Macaroni salad with bacon was solid, love the bacon add to a classic mayo based macaroni salad. I’m excited to come back and try the rest of the menu, mainly the dogs and the rest of the sides. Great company tonight, and great food. If you haven’t ventured out to try the dogs, I would definitely plan a stop for a taste of the menu and the wonderful customer service.

Who knew that a soft pretzel could make such a spectacular hot dog bun? I ordered the turkey dog on a pretzel roll with grilled onions, dill relish, lettuce and pickle slices and it was great. Everything tasted homemade, especially the pickles, and the sauce selection was amazing. I love having so many horseradish options in one spot. The staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. I have a feeling the owner doesn’t know how good his place is. Although, I am not a big hot dog fan I am a Rock-N-Dog fan and will be back soon to try something with a little more flare than just a boring turkey dog.

Fantastic. They have a good menu here with a nice variety of stuff. I had a garlic and onion gourmet link on a pretzel bun. It was quite good, and the bun was very soft. After we sat down, I assume the owner came by with free samples of pizza. My husband and the kids thought it was pretty good(I didn’t try it). The owner and other staff came out pretty regularly to check on us. It was just enough attention. They made a point to bring out all of our food at once, which was good. There are a lot of sauces available to try. I liked their ranch sauce; it tasted like a good combo of ranch and jalapenos, with some heat. The meal was about $ 30 for two gourmet link meals, two kids meals, and a dessert. Not bad! I liked the atmosphere with all the rock and roll stuff on the walls. They have a nice sound system and it’s turned up enough to hear it, but not so much that you have to scream to be heard. They had a great selection of music playing, too. We will be back!

If I could give Rock-N-Dogs more than 5 stars, I would! This place is amazing! The food is delicious, the prices are great, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff goes above and beyond! I had the New York Style Dog and it was fantastic! My husband had the Chili Cheese Dog and couldn’t put it down(yes, a chili dog that you can eat with your hands!) Try this place once and you’ll be hooked!

This place is amazing! My husband and I have been here three times in the last two weeks. It is in the Mission Trace shopping center across the parking lot from Red Robin. The fried pickles are amazing, thin little slices fried to perfection, they come with ranch dressing and something called rocket sauce. I like going to the impressive condiment station to get a little cup of the many sauce choices(chili, franks hot, horsey, smokey ketchup, namaste mustard, the list goes on). Every time we have been here we get the same thing because it’s always incredible: the southern dog with bacon, bbq sauce, coleslaw, and onion rings piled high, and a chicago dog with the usual fixings). All the buns are great, pretzel bun is life changing. I prefer the potato wedges to the beer battered fries but really they are both pretty good. My husband loved the carrot cake but I didn’t get to try any because he ate it in all of three seconds.

My fiancé and I got take-out at Rock-N-Dogs tonight so we could eat sausage at home and watch the Broncos game. I was really impressed with their menu– they have a huge variety of sausages and specialty toppings, and all sausages come with a side and are still less than $ 6. He had the New York dog(grilled onion and of course mustard only) with a spicy Italian sausage on a pretzel bun. He said the sausage was a actually nice and spicy and loved the bun. I had an apple bratwurst with grilled onions. It had a great flavor and big chunks of apple inside. I picked coleslaw for my side and loved it, but he said the potato salad had a bit of an odd flavor to it. Other side options included fries, pasta salad, onion rings, etc. There’s a few options on the menu that are healthier but they’re pretty much an afterthought. Don’t go here if you’re dieting. Currently, they’ve decorated with rock n’ roll paraphenelia and don’t have a TV. I think they would do better(especially at night) if they had TVs and tried to be a sports bar. I can’t speak for dine-in service, but the girl at the counter was helpful and patient with me when I changed my mind multiple times and had questions about the menu. Yummy sausage close to home for cheap? I’m a fan!
