History
Established in 2014.
STACK was conceived and developed to provide excellent sub sandwiches, salads, soups and real ice cream milkshakes to the Lakewood community. We wanted to open a shop that gave people a great meal prepared quickly, at a good price, and in a clean environment. In addition, we wanted to build sub sandwiches that fixed the common problems we saw at other establishments. In our humble opinion, a great sandwich needs a few key components:
1) Great Bread — we have Pretzel Rolls, French Baguettes, Wheat bread, and Udi’s Gluten Free bread
2) Fresh Ingredients — meats and vegetables cut daily
3) Care and attention when preparing the sandwich — we stack every sub so meats, cheeses, toppings, and condiments are consistent across the entire sandwich.

Meet the Business Owner
Rick K.
Business Owner
Rick is a Colorado native who grew up in Littleton and attended Heritage HS. He got his Mechanical Engineering degree from CU Boulder and his MBA from the University of Southern California. After 20 years in the corporate world as a Management Consultant and Director of Customer Service for a software company, he decided to open his own business. Rick traveled both nationally and internationally for work and ate a lot of sandwiches. Rick loves a good sandwich.
Rick’s concept for STACK Subs was to bring the best from around the country to Denver and build an amazing sandwich shop. Since opening his first STACK in August of 2012, Rick couldn’t be happier with his wonderful customers, great employees, and a sandwich shop he can be proud of.
