A little nervous given all the poor customer service reviews, but just needed to get in and out so was hoping for the best. Door greeter pointed me to right aisle, was immediately waited on by Cleo, told her what I needed and she took me right to the spot, showed me my choices and got me out in less than 4 min. Hallelujah! She even got the ladder to get me a factory sealed box rather than the suspicious looking beat-up box at aisle level. Thank you Cleo! And with self-checkout, no waiting. Went at 1pm on a Friday, so maybe that’s just a good time to go.

Horrible customer service! Margaret quoted us on doors and was helpful while doing so. This is where the good service ended. She told us she’ll leave off two items we were unsure about until we checked with our installer but that if we called in by Wednesday she could add them and the quote would still be honored. She also said she only works Mondays and Wednesdays. So we called Wednesday. Margaret was out to lunch and some lady said she’d relay the message and we’d be called back in a half hour. We received no call. I called Thursday spoke with some guy(I can’t remember his name) who refused to let us speak to a manager. Instead he wanted to play the middle man between us and his manager. That conversation last left off with him checking with his manager to see if they’d still honor the quote. Again, no call back. I called and asked directly for a manager on Friday and received Sara. Sara told us the quote was still in the system but she couldn’t add the two items we wanted. I tried and explain that this was an error on Home Depots part for not being responsive and making us miss the deadline. We did everything we were told so I wasn’t sure why we were being found at fault for it. She kept saying that because we wanted to «change» our order… No Sara, we are not changing anything. We were TOLD it was ok to call back with the two discussed items if we wanted them added. If I knew it was a problem I would’ve had them added to begin with. Again we were just doing what we were told! Sara told us we’d have to buy the extra items separately which would add a great deal on to the price. She offered no discount or tried to help the situation that was clearly Home Depot’s fault. What manager does nothing to help a customer? Thank you Sara for being a horrible manager and having horrible employees. Because of you we will now take our $ 4000+ order to Lowes.

Not sure why this Home Depot does not allow your dog. Other do and they even have treats. Off to lowes not leaving my dog in a hot truck. I would pass on this location.

Found my self searching for help for a while. I definitely prefer ACE. nuts bolts and washer are very difficult to find specific sizes and if you do find it you end up having to purchase 10 of them plus some other crap I don’t want. I do like there garden manure however, you get what you pay for even though its shit.

Ever go to a Home Depot with an impossible problem and have someone set you straight in minutes? I just did. LJ was incredible. I told her about a roof leak I’ve struggled with. She was patient, looked at my pictures and advised what no one else has – build a roof saddle. She showed me what she meant, then walked me around the store fitting me with the best and most economical materials she had. Seriously, she was smart and SO helpful. This leak has been a huge heartache for me, but she addressed it all. Of course, now I have to build it, but that’s why I went there… And why I’ll be back for the next project. Awesome people here. Oh and Home Depot, if you’re reading this, please give LJ a raise. She is amazing!

Nice home depot near Colfax and Wads. It doesn’t seem as big as some of the other behemoths, but maybe that is just my perspective. I went in one day looking for a particular tile and someone helped me right off the bat. It is nice that this one has a greeter that actually tells you the aisle for the item you are looking for! There is a light to get in and out of this one and plenty of parking, so it is breeze to stop in.

Wow. Terrible customer service tonight. No one to cut blinds and the guy I asked for help locating something else was more focused on repairing a door knob. No one was interested in actually helping me and when I told an employee I was upset she did absolutely nothing. Nothing. So I walked out and I will not be back.

Love this HD. They’re ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The Garden Center is great during spring, summer and fall months!

Helpful staff and great location. Store seems larger than others and I think that would mean more selection via increased inventory.

The selection at this store can’t be beat. They stock everything from economy painting kits to professional paint brushes, quick fixes to custom closet doors, and patio furniture to specialty house plants. We were able to get all of the house paint and painting supplies we needed for less than we had anticipated. The gentleman who mixed the 5-gallon bucket of paint for us was helpful and upbeat. The young lady who assisted us at the register was also very friendly. The overall shopping experience was fairly pleasant, especially considering the daunting task that awaited us!

Hey, it’s a Home Depot! Check it out! There’s nothing about this particular location that stands out from another Home Depot. For meeting the average HD requirements, they have it down. Everyone asks you if you need help finding anything, and everyone is happy to do just that should you need it. And there’s the paint guy, his orange apron covered in the remnants of finger-tested can swatches. The entrance is kind of abrupt and easy to miss, but you’ll figure it out. I know you will.

As I know hardly anything about home repair and what to get, I found the salepeople extremely helpful. Moving into a new plae and neighborhood is stressfull enough so helpful sales associated relieved my anxiety and lack of knowledge. I have to say that I was particular impressed by a male sale associate that was being berated by some disgruntled customer trying to make a return without a receipt. He was absolutely out of line, loud, and rude! The associate kept his calm(way better then I would’ve) and dealt with the disrespectful behavior.

It’s a home depot, what can you say about them. There is never anyone when you need them and they are always out of the one thing that you go there for. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks.

This home depot is small and in a marginal area. Their staff is helpful but selection is limited. Do not come here at night the parking lot is not well lit and being on colfax that is very scary!

I thought all Home Depots were the same until I went to this one. It’s a newer, nicer, cleaner and better organized. For some reason it’s also much less crowded any night of the week or weekend afternoon I’ve visited. Parking is a breeze. But last night we had great CS from two staff worth mentioning. We had a topsy turvy planter that was broken inside the box. It had been sitting on our dining room table for over a month waiting to be filled with plants and hung outside but when I finally opened it I noticed it was cracked. No receipt but they let us exchange anyway, crazy to me since they sell that thing at pretty much every store on the planet right now. Also, in the nursery, it took us a few questions that stumped the first two employees helping us, but when a third came by she did wonders and helped us narrow down some plants that would work in specific, needy, difficult areas of our yard and had a lot of knowledge about the Colorado climate and how that impacts us lowly beginner gardeners. On top of that they take competitors’ coupons like the 10% off Lowe’s purchases we whipped out. This is not my closest Home Depot but definitely my favorite, and that’s saying a lot about a warehouse filled with dirty men and home improvement tools.

I have been remodeling homes for many years and frequent large home supply warehouse stores often. I went to the Home Depot on Colfax first about 2 years ago. The thing that struck me first was the layout. It was different. I had the home depot memorized, I could walk into any of them and know exactly where I wanted to go to find my widget. But once i walked around this new layout makes sense. The thing I really like about this store is that it is brand spanking new. Everything in there is nice and new. The second thing is that it seems to always be empty and there are actual people in orange best able to help you. This is huge plus if I am in the middle of a plumbing project and forgot a piece that I need to send my wife to get.
