Love this place! We have been taking our two labs here for several years now and are very happy with their work. Both dogs always look great and never have any wounds or soreness. Wag Your Tail does a great job and we highly recommend them.

They were great taking care of my nephew’s dog. This was her first time, they talked to her as if they new her and calm her down as she was scared. Will definitely bang her back when I get to babysit and dog sit again. Price was affordable.

Been taking my Moms dog for last few years, always do an excellent job and the prices are very reasonable. Friendly staff who run a very smooth operation, and the customers I see coming and going also appear happy to leave their pets. Great customer service, today they took her a half hour early so I could get her out in an hour. Best to make a reservation in the morning, weekends gets a bit more crowded.

I was nervous about taking my pup to a new groomer, I have moved across town, and Messy Mutt, just wasn’t as convenient anymore. I took King Happy for a «look see», at Wag Your Tail, and was impressed with Tony, enough to make an appointment, for the next week. The guys at Wag Your Tail did a great job, with Happy, and were finished in 2 ½ hours! Yay! I could make other plans! They are still on probation, with me – we will see. But, so far, so good!

I have been coming here for a few years now and they never disappoint. The best part about them is that I never make an appointment to get my Roper Boy bathed and it’s never an issue! I’m sure they would appreciate an appointment being made but I never know when I can take him!!! Thanks for always being so flexible and doing a great job with Roper!!!

This place is great. I’ve taken my pup to them a few times now and am happy every time. They actually take time to trim and shape his coat. I don’t know what shampoo they use but it keeps my boy smelling nice for a couple of weeks. The best groomers I’ve been to!

I love this place! They are friendly and always make time to get my two Rat Terriers in, even last minute. I really appreciate that they don’t keep my dogs too long… in & out (no more than two hours.) I also appreciate the occasional coupon, it’s always nice to save a few dollars!

I took my 4 baby’s in today (Last minute) luckily they took me in (Hurray) lol & it was my 1^st time in I was greeted nicely as I walked in I filled out a card and I told the groomers how I wanted my furry baby’s and when I came back to get them I was so happy with the results! :) thank you and your team for making my baby’s look so clean and smell so good (New customer alert) lol thanks guys !

I took my 3 fur balls on January 16, 2016, and it was our first time! The bath comes with ear cleaning, trim claws, and anal gland! Guess what none of my 3 fur balls got their ears cleaned! Layla’s and Zoey’s ears are usually pretty clean. Dillinger’s ears can get pretty dirty! I checked Dillinger’s ear when we got home and it’s dirty! I also told Tony to please be carefully with Dillinger and to put cotton balls on his ears so that water doesn’t get in there! Guess what? Dillinger’s been shaking his head slot since we got home so that freaking means water went inside of his ears! Gosh! Can’t people follow instructions??? I freaking paid almost $ 100.00 for 3 fur balls!!! I guess I will have to either take a class to learn how to trim their nails so that I don’t have to worry about anyone hurting my 3 babies!!!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else! Great service and very friendly! My dogs always look great and smell great when they are done! If you are looking for a great dog grooming place then this is it !:)

This place is great! They were able to take my four legged child on the same day and she was ready in about an hour. Place is affordable, clean and they’re very friendly to their four legged clients. Definitely bringing mine back again regularly.

I will start by saying that I haven’t written many Unilocal reviews because a thoughtful review takes a lot of time. That being said, the team at Wag Your Tail is well-​deserving of the time.
I live with my 110 lb. Saint Bernard, my mom, and her 80 lb. German Shepherd about a mile away from Wag Your Tail. We’ve taken the dogs to a variety of groomers over the past few years… Petsmart, Poochies (RIP), and Sudsy Dog to name a few. Given the size of our dogs, I’m not into the «bathe-​your-​own» dog type places. I can accomplish similar results in my backyard (over several hours) without having to transport the big dogs in the car. One reason Wag Your Tail appeals to me is because it is a full-​service groomer.
In addition to being large in size and difficult to handle, my Saint Bernard also gets matted fur behind her hears and near her haunches (which are difficult to prevent with all the outdoor play that goes on), and I like to have them shaved off during a grooming visit. I’ve come to expect grooming rates for a dog of her size to be more than that of a small dog, but in the past I’ve encountered rates ranging everywhere from $ 45-​$ 110, depending on where I took her and which employee rang up the sale. I’ve been to Wag Your Tail several times now, and my Saint is consistently about $ 50 (before any tip, of course), and is the same rate as my mom’s German Shepherd, who regularly gets her ears cleaned as well. I appreciate the consistent, fair pricing at Wag Your Tail.
While I have a tendency to be terrible with names, the two gentlemen I regularly encounter when taking my dogs are fabulous. They are so nice, laid-​back, and handle my nervous dogs extremely well. The German Shepherd always barks and splays her legs out in protest of going into the back for a bath, but they always calmly urge her to come with them and have never given me a look like «Your dog is crazy. Please don’t bring her back here.» My Saint Bernard hates the hair dryers and the clippers, but they have never accidentally cut her skin once (which used to happen regularly at Petsmart) and they always seem to get off so much more hair during brushing than anywhere else (a major plus for my clothes and furniture).
I usually make an appointment for Saturday mornings (it’s the only time my work schedule really allows), but I will take both of them in around 8 or 9 and they’re always done within 3 – 4 hours, ready to be picked up. Even if it wasn’t a mile away, I would drive out of my way to take them there! (maybe while watching some soccer/​baseball games at the park across the street or running errands at the shops nearby). I can’t say enough good things about this place. In fact, I’m taking them both back this weekend!

By far the best grooming place I’ve been to by far, I have took my dog Meeko other grooming places prior to bringing my dog to Wag your tail and none have been able to achieve what I wanted in my dog. Meeko is a mix Maltese and Pomeranian
Which his hair is thick and a little on the curly side. All I wanted for my pup was to have is teddy bear cut and where I took him charge extra and was more expensive and still didn’t achieve the look I wanted until I took him to wag your tail grooming Tony was very helpful in getting the cut on my Meeko I always wanted … And the best part in all this he was very affordable not expensive at all !!! I totally recommend this place to all pet lovers there where amazing :)

Im so happy with their service. Im a Unilocaler and found this spot for my pets… Called Saturday and spoke to Tony he answered my questions and gave me an appointment the same day. I have three dogs and they all looked so cute. Thank You !!!

Called on Saturday morning to see if they had any available appointments for a bath and cut and they were able to take her right away. They were very nice when I dropped her off. It took about an hour and I’m super happy with the results. I asked if they could cut the hair really short, so she can stay cool in this heat, and they did just that. They’re fairly priced too. I think she looks great! Will definitely be going back next time.

Took my dog who is a spotted white pitbull to wag your tail. I came across wyt while running errands and they quoted me a fair price for what they offer.
So I brought my dog in and they welcomed us and complemented Darla (my dog). They told me it would be an hour or so for her to be ready. I told them take their time.
I’m glad they did because when I picked her up she was very clean, happy, smelled good and loved the bandana they gave her! They told me she was very well behaved. She sheds a lot when I picked her up from other grooming places because they rushed and do not comb her so well. When I picked her at wag your tail she did not shed at all!
Very happy will go back again!

Took our puppy Schnoodle, Wilma, for her first grooming. The results were great. Easy to make apps online. When I called they were very helpful explaining prices and what they do. We go in right away and she was done in less then two hours. Very friendly staff, took great care of my dog. Will definitely be going back.

Okay, morally, I could not bring myself to write a 5 star review. I honestly couldn’t. I’ve been fighting this little war for about 2 hours now and I am sticking with my original star count. Even though everything was remedied.
At about 1:45 today my boyfriend said that we need to take one of our dogs to get her nails cut. Told him to locate WYT’s card in our box and call them to see if they were open. You really do HAVE to call ahead to see if someone is even there. Being off on midweek days, I have come by here when most would assume they would be open regularly, so about 12:30pm sometimes later, maybe 1:30pm or 2:00pm and WYT has been CLOSED. Now, that’s an issue to me because their posted business hours are until 5:00pm during the week. Anyways, boyfriend calls and when the guy who answered the phone (btw, he answered with «Wag Your Tail, how can I help you?») he explained we needed to have our dogs nails cut because they’ve gotten really long. He said he had left due to an emergency, with the store phone forwarded to his cell, but we could bring the dog by tomorrow. After explaining that wouldn’t work because of our personal work schedules, they hung up. I got a little upset at this because again, they closed early!
After contemplating for a bit, I decided to call back. so at 2:03PM, I called back. The gentleman answered the phone exactly the same way «Wag Your Tail, how can I help you.» Same voice, same guy.
NOW HERE’S WHERE I DROPPED 2 STARS…
I explained exactly the same thing. Nails clipped, too long. The guy said «okay no problem, come on in.» BUT WAIT. he just told my boyfriend 15 minutes prior that no one was there and he had an emergency. So I called him out on it, stating that I literally had just heard him tell my boyfriend that they had closed early. Stumbling, Tony stated that there was another employee there. when I kindly informed him that no, no one else was there because I had gone to check prior to calling back. Locked up. Tony stated that there was another guy inside and he would call the shop and tell the other guy to open the door. And that he would give me a call back in 3 minutes.
10 minutes later, Tony calls back and says for me to go ahead and come in, someone is there. I told him I’d be there in 15 minutes. He said «15? Um okay I’ll see you in 15 minutes.»
20 minutes later, I walked in. Tony and either the owner, or his wife, (maybe she’s both?) started explaining how there was another male employee here when they called him earlier and this employee was acting like he was at the shop, so they didn’t understand that the shop was literally closed. Apparently until I told Tony the shop was closed when I called back? Tony also explained that the «earliest» he leaves is approximately 4:30pm so he can go pick up his daughter. Again, I’ve come by midweek, midday, and the store has been closed up, shades drawn.
They took my dog and clipped her nails free. Tony did clip one too short, and provided some sort of powder to prevent it from bleeding just in case. But to me, that’s not acceptable if your dog didn’t move at all during the clipping process. Yes, she was nervous (she accidently pooped :/​), but she didn’t move at all, snap, snarl, growl, nothing. She just looked at me like a good girl. And she’s not a small dog either, so I was very impressed with her behaviour. Also, my dog is very large, and she was nervous… so picking her to put her on the table, just to clip her nails was a bit excessive. Should have just let her stand on the floor. He could see was shaking as soon as she got to the table. (update, it’s been about 10 hours since we left WYT, and she is still shaking. poor girl.)
While I’m grateful they did it free of charge, the hassle I’ve experienced with WYT and finding them locked 2 – 3 hours before closing is unacceptable. And its not like it was the same day/​week/​month I’ve stopped by either to see if anyone was there. So like I said, call ahead and make sure some is there before you load your pup up for no reason. I was happy her nails finally got trimmed when I left, but I’m not sure if we will be back :/

**********SMALL AND COZY********
I have a 7yr. old Bichon Frise (the one on my profile picture) who besides thinking she’s human is literally afraid of her own shadow. So needless to say I have to be very particular and careful with who I trust her too because anything can traumatize my killer at heart.
Luckily, I happened to stumble across Wag Your Tail on one particular day when the child decided to roll around in her own poop and was extremely proud of it. I was fortunate enough that they were not very busy that day and I was able to get her the works (wash, trim, anal glands expressed and teeth brushing).
She came back smelling like blueberries & baby powder, which curiously enough was a pleasant combination. She was nicely trimmed and puffy to the core.
I was very pleased with the service which was fast, effective and I really liked the final product. She has since become a regular and they know exactly how I like her hair cuts. They have come to know her quirks and have always accommodate her special needs… yes I have a special needs dog :)
However, Wag Your Tail can be easy to miss as it is located in the Von’s strip mall to the very rear. You can easily pass it by if you don’t keep an eye for it. It’s small which I like since I don’t think having a large number of dogs at any given time, even if they are in their own cage, is a good thing. Their prices are also reasonable.
Now I didn’t mention prices because they vary with the size of the dog, condition of the coat, and other services which may be required, but they are pretty competitive and comparable to other local groomers.
