I was just here for the first time last Sunday. And this place totally blew my mind! They had live music outside,(which was FANTASTIC) great music playing inside, a pool table, an awesome bar, games, and an AMAZINGSTAFF. Everyone was so incredibly helpful, friendly and nice. My husband and I ordered a pizza, and we’re picky being from Chicago, so it’s always a risk… BUTITWASSOGOOD. I would 100% recommend this place. If you live nearby here, definitely GO!!! And order the PIZZA! If you don’t live close, make the trip once in a while, it’s totally worth it! The owner, Stephen, and his staff are incredible. You’ll have a blast!

This place is clean and a good time. They have nice pool tables(there’s only two) and darts. I like the interior the way its set up with booths as well.

Everything outside is dusty and white and covered in white and dust. Inside you are a ghost and the entire staff ignores you. Stare into their eyes and you will know what red feels like. One of the waitresses passed through me on her way to the kitchen and I was given a glimpse into her checkered past. The meatball submarine is to die for.

Awesome place and the pizza is good. It is not New York style by the slice pizza but it is fresh, has great ingredients and was cooked well. The atmosphere is great and the place is clean, prices are great and we’ll who doesn’t like to order a dirty sounding drink. Outstanding place in the area and the food as well as service is great.

I stopped here yesterday with a few of my gal pals. I read the Unilocal reviews and was convinced. Happy to say they were accurate. The bartender, who wears many hats was amazing. I love her! Very personable and accommodating. Drinks were amazing prices were great. We went on ladies night which is Thursday night. Food portions were grand. We ordered the spaghetti and it was excellent. DELICIOUS! The garlic bread on the other hand was not so great. Maybe it was a bad batch. Now here is the kicker why such a great review and not 5 stars. I know this is something they can’t exactly control but it is located down the street from a homeless shelter and the crowd was rather unusual. Very eccentric! I would definitely come back during the day for a lunch. I just don’t not if the night crowd is my thing. Cheers to the Karaōke guy he was amazing and very friendly! Make sure you tip him for his awesomeness.

Not sure if Big Shotz decided to start scaling back on their food portions, maybe they were having an off night, I don’t know. Our experience didn’t quite compare to that of other Unilocalers. S E R V I C E: We came to Big Shotz on a Friday night at around 7:45PM. Our server was full of smiles and super nice. She was running back and forth, tending to many parties at once. I ordered a drink and received it quickly. We then ordered food and waited about 30 – 45 minutes. This seemed excessive. It was a little busy but even so, the menu is not that large and the items are not that complicated. As the night progressed, wait times only got worse. They might consider hiring more servers. Though, that may just make a tight space even tighter. Also, there were a couple of drunks who really should have been cut off. I understand that to be somewhat of a difficult process but when the person is repeatedly being destructive, something needs to be done. F O O D: I really hate to say it but the food was a bit of a let down. We ordered the Lasagna, famously known for its huge portion and converting non-believers into lasagna lovers. Unfortunately, our lasagna was quite small and very cold. All I could taste was cold ricotta cheese and it was making me nauseous. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza which, in comparison to the lasagna, was a heavenly godsend and the chocolate cake was absolutely decadent. Like I said, the lasagna could have been a fluke but a major one that has me hesitant to order it again in the future. A M B I A N C E: I guess this is considered a rough part of town, maybe I’ve just been desensitized but I didn’t feel it was any different than the rest of Lancaster. If you’re no stranger to the AV you probably already guessed it. Big Shotz, much like every single bar in town, has a target audience of 40+. There are a hand full of younger people but they are far and few between. If you’re a 20 something like myself, this probably isn’t your ideal spot. Overall, it’s a decent place to get a drink and watch some sports. I personally enjoyed people watching because there are some interesting characters in this town. I will definitely return for a piece of that incredible chocolate cake!

This was my first time here and I will def. be coming back! This place was great! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Everything is budget friendly here from the food to the drinks. I am kind of skeptical about ordering food from bars at times, but I decided to give this place a shot after a friend was raving about their steaks. I ordered the Skirt steak and it was made to perfection. Everything was given to us in big portions and was delicious. Great environment and I suggest everyone giving it a try!

Third time in, second time eating. I’m amazed at the delicious freshly made pizza dough, the overwhelming size of portions and the super affordable prices! I’ve had dessert twice. The second time, connoli that I wanted chocolate sauce on, didn’t have any so Alex, the amazing chef, made some out of chic chips and some other magic. Amazing again! And Amy the bartender, so sweet and attentive. We will go back again and again. So worth the visit and food is served until 10:00 pm. Nice change out of the ordinary. You can tell these people have a passion for what they do! Love it!

Important message: run, don’t walk, to amongst the best Lasagna in town, and it’s only $ 7.50!!! Our waitress was the bartender, Amy. Despite feeling a little under the weather, she still had a great smile and was very nice. This is very definitely the«old part of town», but I suppose there can be a lot of charm to that fact. We ate over on the west side of the restaurant where the five booths are located(the other side of the restaurant has the pool tables, machines and the music which results in more noise over there). We decided to do an appetizer by sharing one of their 10″ pizzas. Well, what a fabulous surprise that turned out to be! We ordered the pizza with onion and extra cheese, and I’m telling you it was scrumptious, hot and gooey with a nice crust and really yummy! We liked the Italian owner’s tomato sauce. For our entrées we decided to stay with the Sicilian or Italian theme, and so Mr. Picky ordered Lasagna while I decided to try the house special Fried Spaghetti with mushrooms, peppers, onions, topped with Mozzarella cheese. Frankly, I had never even heard of fried spaghetti(baked yes, fried no). I always bully Mr. Picky into experimenting and trying new things so that was my new thing for the day. That turned out to be an OK dish, but it just could not stand up to the lasagna which I believe is amongst the best lasagna in town as well as the cheapest at the price tag of $ 7.50! I knew we had a winner when Mr. Picky groaned and just went YmmYmmmYmm. We told chef Alex that it was off the charts! Distinct layers with lots of creamy Ricota cheese, it’s been beautifully seasoned with herbs, the great tomato sauce, and of course the whole homemade thing covered in melted mozzarella cheese. To finish the meal we decided to share a piece of chocolate cake. It was a very large and generous piece, and I can tell you that it was fabulous! I don’t think they made it here, and I don’t know where they got it, but now I know where to come get it and that’s the important thing :-) Really good! We didn’t expect such great food in a little bar. Shock! «4.5» Stars. # # # On our next visit, Arthur was in the kitchen and came to our table to ensure that we were happy with all of the food and we really appreciated the special attention, because it was obvious how much he personally cared that we enjoy our meal and that the food would be a really great experience. The lasagna is a great option for vegetarians because there is no meat in it, but if you really feel you need that extra protein boost, have them chop up a meatball and add that before they bake it in the oven. On the next visit we had Amanda serving us and she, too, was great and really helpful!

I go to this place on a regular basis. Great food and the portions are out of this world, can’t beat the prices. If you haven’t tried the pizza, you don’t know what you are missing, New York style. Staff are friendly and great service. Live bands and karaōke. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Give them a try

The food is crazy good ESPECIALLY for a bar. The bar tenders always have a bad attitude and watch what they charge u for but I still love this place. Big, plenty of tvs, pool, darts, it’s awesome.

This is not a family restaurant. Just a warning. :) We decided to come without the kids to check it out and it is NOT a place we would bring them. It is a bar that serves food. Now the food is pretty great. The portions are out of control! Gigantic is an excellent descriptor. The menu is limited, and nothing stellar, but it was very well prepared and tasty. And, having pointed out that this is not really a restaurant, there was considerable effort made to have the food presentation be on point. While our server was clearly wearing many hats and her priority was obviously a very busy bar we never waited very long for anything. We will most likely come back, just as we said; sans little ones! Just a few comments that might help improve things in the future: the noise level was insane. Bordering on unacceptable. Had we not already ordered when the music in the next room started, we probably would have left(we were there at 4PM, not very late). When food is delivered either bring flatware or be sure it is already on the table. When our food arrived we had no utensils and asked for some. It did take right at 5 minutes to get them. And lastly, work on the dirty glasses. When I sent back a soft drink with pieces of paper in it, I was told it is a frequent problem. I felt the server’s apology was very sincere and I was not upset but if this is a common problem, it should be addressed.

I’ve had a great time every time I have gone. Laid back atmosphere, very welcoming, the drinks are reasonably priced and Sunny the bartender is good at what he does. while it is not in the most high end location the people who frequent are polite, nice and I have not gotten any bad vibes. Check it out, and so you know the jukebox is the perfect volume for you to sing from your chair :)

This is an awesome spot! Weekday drinking, weekend drinking, morning drinking, they have it all. Great service, Sonny is incredibly friendly and professional, he makes amazing drinks and does it quickly which is always nice! The cook(who’s name I don’t know) is straight up fantastic! The Philly is out of control delicious. This is truly a great secret little spot, live music during the week, darts on Wednesdays, karaōke Fridays and open jam session every second Saturday of the he month. What more could you ask for! Great prices… Yeah they have those too!!!

Food and drink prices are great, you get big portions of food for a low price. New owners have really cleaned the place up, and are going to be bringing in a lot of entertainment soon. Staff is friendly, pool tables well-maintained, bathrooms clean, and the environment is nice. I’m trying to think of anything I could complain about, and I’m coming up short. I’ll definitely be back.
