History

Established in 1998.

The founder of Fillmore Container began his business by selling Amish-​made jar goods at local markets. Part of this business relationship was helping these rural, phone-​less ladies source their supplies, and so he began to warehouse the jars and lids they needed. Word spread in the community, and soon there was a steady stream of folks stopping by for jars and lids. A presence on the world wide web opened the floodgates — so many people were looking for a dependable supplier of quality glass containers at reasonable prices. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Keith didn’t start Fillmore Container, but he has been instrumental in its tremendous growth since 2003. Career advancement with his former employer required significant out-​of-​town travel, and starting a family made him want to be home evenings and weekends. A friend introduced Keith to the former owners of Fillmore Container, who were looking for someone to manage its daily operations. Keith accepted their offer to be Fillmore’s first employee, and has enjoyed meeting the challenges of expanding its product offering, creating a highly efficient order processing system, and helping customers overcome hurdles inherent to their project/​business.
