esse’s Paint and Body is a auto collision repair center that has been in business for over 30 years in Lancaster, South Carolina area. We specializes in auto repair, auto restoration, collision repair, auto painting, and custom auto painting of vehicles utilizing state of the art equipment. Our body shop will repair and restore everything from heavy to light collision.

Business Owner

Jesse’s Paint and Body is owned and operated by Jesse Rathel. Back in November of 1964 a young Jesse went to work for Nickels Oldsmobile in Enterprise, Alabama. This was the beginning of Jesse’s automotive repair career. Five years later, in 1969, Jesse moved his family to Lancaster, South Carolina. He continued his career with Donnie Bowers at B & B Body Shop. Finally Jesse was ready to strike out on his own, so in July, 1981, Jesse’s Paint and Body opened for business.

After 17 successful years Jesse needed to expand, therefore he moved the shop to it’s current location in downtown Lancaster in July, 1998. Since then Jesse has continued the tradition of high quality work, attentive customer service, and a professional attitude often missing in the auto body repair industry.
