McDonald’s

It’s weird, I live about a block north of this McDonalds. I don’t go there often, mostly because I hate McDonalds but, every experience I’ve had in this place, at the drive-​thru has been positive. They get my order right, every time, something which no other McDonald’s in Lancaster County has managed. They’re polite. They’re efficient.
Now, this store is a tough neighborhood and there are a lots of people that hang around this area that are only looking for trouble. And, there are lots of people who hang around this McDonald’s because, well, because they’re allowed to. Let’s be clear, if this were a county store, there wouldn’t be an issue because, well, of racism, plain and simple.
So, it’s a combination of racism and people who are menacing that, I think, is the main here. As for the staff of the McDonald’s, they’ve been great to me and my family and I appreciate that.

I have no problem with people who are only Spanish speaking on a fundamental level, but several times the cashier I’ve spoken to cannot speak English at all. I can only speak a few words of Spanish and with very poor grammar so my transaction was almost impossible until a bilingual coworker translated my order. Also, the management is incredibly rude here and a friend that parked in the lot so I could go in while they got cigarettes at a store around the corner was illegally towed.
