Jonas and Sarah King opened this cute road stand a few years ago. They feature the best bread I’ve ever had(white, wheat, or gluten-free bread available). I’ve tried various local and tourist-stop Shoofly Pies, but Sarah makes the best Shoofly I’ve ever had, hands-down. Their pastries, pies, cookies, and cinnamon rolls are excellent too. I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t melt-in-your-mouth-amazing. I can’t say enough about their bread, if you aren’t careful you’ll nibble on the whole loaf before you get home! Sarah bakes up many gluten-free treats too, great for anyone with a gluten allergy that wants to experience some Lancaster, PA desserts. They usually have free range(truly free range, you’ll see) eggs available too if you get their answering machine phone number off of them and call in your order ahead of time.
