i called pennies air conditioning and they came right out. they were very professional and knowledgeable. my heater motor was replaced at a reasonable price and they were fast. thank you pennies, job well done!

Johnny was amazing. I had no idea how easy it was but they were super nice. They came on time, cleaned up after their work. They were awesome. In this cold weather having a house heater not function was a nightmare. Thank you guys.

We just got a home in Lancaster, and among the million other things on my to-​do list, I realized we needed to replace the furnace. My expectation was that a grumpy man would arrive, take forever, and try to get as much money out of me as he could. This was not the case at all!
It initially embarrassed me when the two men arrived and the dog I was watching rushed over and began barking, but these guys didn’t seem to mind at all. They made the replacement quickly and not only was it painless (especially compared to other things I had to deal with that day), but the men’s attitudes were so upbeat that the experience actually felt somewhat pleasant.
The best part was that I didn’t have to break out my haggling skills. Beforehand I made sure to research how much replacing a furnace costs so that I wouldn’t be ripped off, but they didn’t even try to up sell me. The offered a more than reasonable price that I was glad to accept. I would definitely use them again and will be recommending Pennies to others.

Now it is Fall season the temperature dropped from 90 degrees to 50 degrees at night. My six years old son was freezing. I try to turn on the A/​C to make the house warm but it didn’t turn on. I called a wonderful company with very reasonable prices and they came out on the same night. This wonderful company name is Pennies Air Conditioning. These two very polite, honest, hard working, and reliable Technicians came right in and fixed my A/​C. They talked to me the whole time what they was doing so I know they are fixing it correctly. With in a couple of hours the heater was on and my son was getting warm. They did a wonderful job a week later I even called them to install Solar Panels on my house. I recommend Pennies Air Conditioning to any one who want a reasonable price and great honest workers.

I have been a customer of Pennies for 6 years now, but my first review — sorry, Johnny!
I first called when I was renting a home in North LA. The a/​c unit wouldn’t keep cool and I was feeling the heat! A neighbor referred this company and they were available same day, due to a change of scheduling… They were in and out quicker than I could grab a burger, saying that there were 2 wires touching that caused the unit to over-​run which froze the fan and yada, yada… I think they charged me just the service call fee and it was cheap! Thankfully I never needed to call them again — or so I thought.
8 months ago I bought a house (yay!!) and I had been looking into solar paneling — ever since strolling through Home Depot and a sales rep tried to get me to purchase. I took the information & even though I knew some about solar panels, I didn’t know much. I decided to give gold ol’ Johnny a call to see if he knew more than I did he did. They knew so much in fact I’m on my 2^nd month of solar life.
Here’s what went down:
A rep come to my house (yay, my house!) to assess what I needed — what permits, how many panels, etc… This took about 1 hour maybe an hour an a half, mainly because I kept asking so many questions. I was told to be beneficial, I would «need 7 ½ Kw installed and it would take a week to get permits, installation…» and all that. Ok, cool… Well, how much?
The price was way below the quote Home Depot guy was selling AND 2 other companies I called for phone quotes. Johnny and the team made sure everything went smooth they even took care of all my paperwork involved for tax credit! Thanks guys!!!
Have I seen changes in my bill? Well it’s only the first month billing cycle, however, I can see online my usage and the usage has gone down and my estimated bill is something I’m actually looking forward to seeing!
I’m still figuring everything out, but I know whenever I have questions, I can just give Pennies Air, Heating & Solar a call and they will happily answer all my questions!
Needless to say, I’m happy and excited about solar panel life.

The motor on my AC went out and it was expected to be 100+ degrees that day. I called Pennies and they came out and got everything up and running that same day. Everywhere else I had called couldn’t come out for a day or two. I haven’t had any problems since.

Was looking for a good ac repair place after my unit was barely blowing cool air out, and with this heat this was urgent!!! Found this place on Unilocal & with all the great reviews I decided to give it a try. Two guys came out Isaac and Fernando. They were very polite & friendly, checked my unit thoroughly to indicate what was wrong. After finding the problem they simply added freon to the ac unit in the side of my house. Saved me alot of money instead of me having to replace my entire unit that would’ve cost me a fortune. I highly recommend this place if ur having ac issues. My only complaint is that they arrived 30 min later than expected. Other than that I’m very happy with my service. My home is now colder than a polar bears toe nails thanks to these guys!!! =)

On Sunday my family and I were out visiting the AV for my sister’s birthday when the AC made a loud noise and came to a complete halt. Johnny was out like Johnny on the spot. He was in and out in no time. Replaced the device and got going. Service is something very important to me so when I see work like this, I make sure I go out of my way to recognize it. Thank you guys! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I was very impressed with the professionalism and expert work Fernando and Isaac did when installing my new a/​c. They were prompt when my cooler broke down and their prices are the best as I priced others beforehand. They far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them for any AC needs.

My A/​C went out in the middle of the night. I called these guys first thing this morning and they came out same day and handed it! The tech that came out arrived early, was clean, polite, professional, and overall great. I would recommend them for anyone who needs HVAC service.

My evaporator was leaking pretty bad and the heater that attaches to it was really old so I decided to to replace the whole unit. I had Richard come out to top off the freon in the compressor a few months back so I requested to have him do the install. He’s got a lot of experience and also teaches HVAC at the antelope valley college.
Richard and Issac found that the evaporator drain pipe was completely covered on the side of the house by dirt. They blew it out and even dug a whole and put some rocks on the bottom. They sealed up some duct work and put a new filter tray in.
Everything was sealed up good and since the new blower is bigger, it cools the house better now. Will call again for any HVAC work. Thanks

A/​C stopped working in the middle of a heat wave but my boyfriend and I luckily found Pennies on Unilocal.They responded quickly and were able to help us out and get everything fixed up the same day.
The service was excellent and very friendly. I knew little to nothing about how everything worked but the serviceman explained everything in detail from what was wrong to what they were going to do to fix it. They added several pounds of Freon, replaced the filter and put in clean a coil for a cheap price and didn’t overcharge or try to take advantage of my lack of technical knowledge.
I will definitely be going back if I am ever in need of service again.

My air conditioner was acting up and wouldn’t work so I called a repair man to find out what the problem was. I was told that I needed to replace my whole system. Of course I wanted a second opinion so I
gave Pennies a call. They had someone at my house within 20 minutes. It turns out it was just the air filter that needed to be changed. After that, my air conditioner kicked right on. Pennies is prompt and very professional. If I ever have any more problems, Pennies will be the first place I call!!!

Visited a friend in Palmdale to see her new condo… Drove halfway there and she wanted to postpone because she was having ac issues… Since I was already more than halfway I came over to see how I could help.
We got in touch with Pennies and in the span of us going to grab lunch and returning they had arrived. The serviceman explained to her fiancé what the seemed to be and in maybe a half hour the ac was good blowing cold air.
The serviceman as well as whomever we spoke with on the phone both were very nice. Can’t really comment on value/​price because my friend’s fiancé took care of the bill.

I was having issues with my swamp cooler and I had no idea who to call?! So I started searching for a repairman in my area. To my convenience Pennies was one of the many who popped up! I called that same day and spoke to johnny he was very polite and assured me he would have someone come by that same day to take a look at it. They came by that same day and since it was early they were able to fix it that game day too!!! I am soo

I just bought a house in Quartz Hill and I wanted to get the A/​C checked out in preparation for the summer heat. Pennies sent a great guy over that did a very thorough inspection and cleaning. The unit outside was full of leaves and dirt. It looked as good as new when they were finished. I’m sure my monthly bill will reward me for the work that he did. If I have any problems in the future or I want to upgrade, I will give them the first chance at my business. You should too.

Wow hands down the very best experience I’ve had with a service company this year. First off they have amazing communication, answered all my questions and concerns.
At first I was hesitant because their prices are more affordable then other major brand solar companies on the market but once everything was all said and done I was more than pleased for what I got, my electric bill used to be roughly around 800 dollars a month, but after I had these sleek and sexy solar panels put in, you won’t believe how much my electricity cost less than half of what I usually pay. This was an amazing investment and an amazing company to work with.
Working with Johnny and Pennies is the best decision I’ve made this year.
I say now if you want to save money and the environment by going solar then Pennies Air conditioning in Lancaster, CA is THE place to go!

I can only say good things about Pennies. The repair guy was the most nice, honest and hard working service person i have ever seen. Other companies could really learn from this one. They were quick, clean, efficient, honest, friendly, and the tech took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do in non technical terms which was extremely helpful and considerate. I would use their services again. I would also recommend their company to anyone else who needs it.
