I’m giving this place 3 stars so far for the job they did tinting my windows they told me it would take 2 hours to do it and they would call me when it was done 2 and ½ hours went by and my husband decided to call and see what was going on the lady answers the phone my husband asks about are car and she said oh it’s been done so that means if my husband wouldn’t have called who knows how much longer they would have kept my car with out calling we went to pick up my car and the same lady was there and a few other men the one siting at the desk had the worsted sour look on his face almost like he was bothered we were there no hi from any one no nothing this place has one of the worsted customer service ever I’m gonna wait the time I’m suppose to to see how the tint turns out but if I do tell any one I know about this place I will worn them about how rude and unprofessional they are.

Took 2 cars in today, not surprised by the quality. A great job on the tint for both cars and the ‘desk lady’ was very nice. Told me about the process and a few things to keep an eye on, great about honesty. Will return with my other car guaranteed. Great work, great staff.

Awesome service and helpful staff. The service writer thoroughly explained the process and the different options for tint as well as the difference in ceramic film, glare and light reduction, as well as the benefit to the amount of heat reduction through the tint to the cabin area.

I went to this place after a few recommendations of their quality and quick service. Preferred Window Tinting lived up to the recommendations, and more importantly my expectations.
I called ahead and had an appointment, showed up on time and my ride went right in. The techs did a great job and took time to clarify a few install items before applying them.
My wait was equally satisfying with great conversation and total time being shorter than quoted. The warranty and product is perfect.

I have had them tint a couple of my cars now and been very happy both times. When I moved to California and asked who to use, multiple people recommend them. I would recommend them to anyone. I would say call first they are usually busy but have fit me on when I just dropped in.

Back in December, my dad had purchased a gift certificate to get the front windows of my Silverado tinted. I booked an appointment to get it done, however was hospitalized the day i was supposed to come in. After all that chaos i put the cert with paper work which is somewhere in my parents house. Here it is about to be June and i still haven’t got my windows tinted. So i called up preferred window tinting and explained my situation. They in turn explained to me without the cert i would not be able to get my windows tinted … Understandable… But then, my luck, the manager called up the owner Todd and explained my situation. They were able to find my dads info, add a note to the receipt and i was able to get my windows tinted after all. Todd the owner, is exceptionally nice and cares about customer service for sure! The office manager, cant remember her name is the sweetest gal ive ever met ! Oh and another thing that impressed me. While i was sitting in the office waiting for my truck to get done one of the workers came in with money in his hand and gave it to the office manager and told her that the owner of the vehicle left it loosely in the car maybe lost it near the seat… WOW!!! Talk about honest! Needless to say i am absolutely impressed with the customer service here and my truck looks FANTASTIC!!! I love it :) thank you Todd and Thankyou preferred window tinting!!!

Just moved down from Alaska and obviously needed window tinting to spare me from the wretched sunlight I wasn’t used to. Not knowing anything about tint the manager Susan answered all of my questions, stupid ones included and was extremely professional. The staff did incredible work, I was amazed that they just didn’t let you drive off without double checking their work, after letting it sit for a 10min period they noticed an imperfection and took it back to fix it. Again Susan and your staff thank you for the amazing job and professionalism, I would recommend them to anyone.

We have been going to the same tint shop down below in the SFV since 2000. We are creatures of habit; looking for great value, top-​notch customer service /​experience, & are repeat loyal customers.
We moved back up here from down below in 2010. We purchased a 2015 Mustang GT on 3÷31÷15. I figured I’d look up here on ⁴⁄₁ before heading off to our usual place & that hopefully I will find a place that is just as good. I did not need to look any further than 3 miles from our house.
I was more than impressed with my experiences at Preferred Window Tinting. Great folks up front along with a clean & comfy waiting area. And speaking of waiting, I did not have to wait that long either. My appointment was on ⁴⁄₂ @ 11 am & it took a mere 53 minutes for install on all 5 glass. Another 15 minutes out in the sun and she was done. Mind you I am used to 3 to 4 hour wait times to tint my vehicle. Apparently, Preferred Window Tinting is able to cut the film using a program instead of by hand. Even with the speedy service, the workmanship was same as a 3 to 4 hour tint install. Great warranty as well along with instructions on how to maintain the tint for 3 to 5 days until dry with the basic same information given when new tint is installed. No mess or fuss.
I did come today to have a couple of tiny bubbles taken care of. Again, 10 minutes tops. I highly recommend Preferred Window Tinting if you are up here in the AV. And if you have a tint shop down below, give Preferred Window Tinting a call first & you will not be disappointed.

I took both my wife and daughters cars to get their windows tinted here and they did a great job. Everyone was very friendly and our cars look amazing. We bring all our cars throughout the years to this place. They never disappoint. I highly recommend this place

This is the second car I’ve had them do. The first car was done very well. This one, however, they’ve messed up every widow with either dirt under the film, scratches, or defective (warped) film. They’re making it right, but I’m very disappointed that they screwed up EVERY window. :-(. One window is understandable, but every window sounds like an employee issue. :-(

busy place. glad the hubby made a res. in and out in less than 2hrs! upon checking the driver and passenger windows tho noticed some very slight bumping. a guy came to check it and understood that i wanted a redo. without any problems took the car back immediately and they fixed it. no questions. no worries. only took about another hour. no issues later and my passat looks AMAZING! great service. great price. very professional people. if your looking for any tinting come to preferred tinting. they are the right choice!

All the vehicles we have owned in California have had their windows tinted at this location. The service is consistently good, and the quality is great. My dad got my Honda Fit tinted for me today ad it came out flawless. He was in and out in around an hour. We are very pleased with the results.

Just waited so long to see how my tinting is going to come out. Yes it looks great and fantastic I highly recommend this business great service and friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again guys you guys rock

I have always used and recommended Preferred Window Tinting. Their lifetime guarantee is awesome. I had it installed on my first vehicle almost 10 years ago and never had a problem. I’ve referred at least 3 people I can think of and not one of them has had a problem with the quality of work.
Next vehicle I have tinted I’m going to go with the heat shielding tint. In this valley we need it!

Just went in after reading the rave reviews about this place to get a quote on my Cadillac ATS. I walk in and the employees are laying on the couches chatting and not one of them stopped to ask if I needed help, they just kinda looked at me and then finally the girl at the desk asks if I need help. I said I’m looking for a quote and she’s asks if that was the car that just pulled up? I’m like yeah the Cadillac and before she can answer, another girl sitting over on the couches (without even looking up from texting) says $ 195. The girl behind desks says «no, isn’t a Cadillac a luxury car?» And then one of the guys laying on the couch says yeah… the girl (still texting) says «oh, $ 225». I said ok thank you as I turned and walked out… with the girl behind the desk saying that includes the lifetime warranty.
You all made my decision very clear with your shear unprofessional customer service! I’m sorry I interrupted your clearly oh so important talking and then made you think about the prices you’re telling your potential customers. Apparently you are so busy with customers that it is OK to treat potential clients so rudely. I will never recommend your services to anyone looking to have their windows tinted and hope that you stay as obviously busy as you were (while your entire staff sat on their a$$es) in this dying economy.

I love my tint! They did a great job! I even have it on the front window which I’ve already got a ticket for lol so I’ll be going back to get it removed and then re-​applied (its vicious cycle). They were fast and low cost, they were fun and chatted with me. I felt very comfortable there. A young guy there did my tint, very sweet kid. I would and I have recommended them to people! You guys did great! Thanks again!

Really good experience. I took my car in to get the windows tinted and they did an awesome job. It took them about 2 hours, as promised, which wasn’t bad since we dropped off the car and headed out to run errands. One thing (totally my fault) that kinda made me rethink the tint was getting limo tint in the back. The employee warned me that it would be difficult to see out of at night, but I went ahead and got it. Now I’m thinking I should have gone lighter. I decided to upgrade to the heat resistance option. I’m sure I will love that in the summer.
Also, my fiancé used Google Maps to get there and it took me all the way out to Quartz Hill for some reason which made me late to my appointment. I guess this has happened before to other customers.

I recently took my brand new car to them and had my window tint done. The staff were helpful in explaining the differences between just the basic and ceramic tint. I ended up having the ceramic tint put on because to me it’s important to keep as much heat out as possible.
Pros: The tint looks great! There are no issues such as the normal bubbling when first installed. I took my car in at 10:30 and explained that I had to go to work at 1:30; they ended up getting my car done around and hour and some change (I thought that was awesome). It is a little pricey but I do believe you pay for what you get, so that was really important to me since I plan on keeping my car for a long time.
Cons: Just wished they could have wiped off their over spray of whatever they use to install tint off my brand new interior and stereo.
Other than that I am pleased with the work!

I chose Preferred Window Tinting based on the Unilocal reviews and I am fully satisfied with their work.
I used to frequent a tint place in North Hills, but this is a lot closer to home and more convenient for me. The work was very good. No problems at all with the quality of the materials or workmanship.
They left a razor blade on my seat… but since I luckily didn’t sit on it, I’m not complaining.
