Started going to this Subway a few months back since it is now the closest location to my home. I have reason to believe I got Sick after eating a salad here in May, because it was the only meal I ate within a solid 20hr time frame. But the nice guy I am, I gave them a second chance. Fast forward to tonight– I was helped out by a girl by the name of Vivian, who wasn’t too pleasant. Any time I have walked into a Subway, I’m greeted by «welcome to Subway». I’m convinced that’s a requirement by corporate Subway, as every one I’ve ever went to, in multiple states do the same. So when I walked in and didn’t hear that, I was surprised. Even though it’s corny and repetitive, it’s expected. When my wife and I step up to the counter, we get a very«dry» What can I get for you. Her attitude not only showed that she didn’t want to be there, but also that she didn’t really care to help us, she was just there to get a check or past time. After getting to the veggie section, I realize that she had the sandwiches wrong.(The meat she had on the 6 inch was supposed to be on the foot long, vice versa) When I pointed it out to her it was like SHE was mad that SHE screwed up. So after correcting it and getting our veggies, it was time to check out. There was no «Would you like to add any cookies or drinks» It was just a dry«Is that it»? On top of ALLLLLLL this I ordered a drink, and didn’t even get my drink! I think she needs to work in an environment answering phones so her snot ions aren’t so easily seen and not face to face. Thanks again, Vivian, for reinforcing my Ave L Subway boycott!

And i give my one star begrudgingly. This Subway is ridiculous. I was there last Wednesday or Thursday and had an issue with this guy who was«apparently» the manager. I am allergic to tomatoes. So, this wannabe rocker with a goatee had a problem with me asking to have my tomatoes removed. Apparently he would rather have me go into anaphylactic shock than remove my tomatoes. I got an eye roll from this seemingly prepubescent«manager» and what sounded like an «eff off» muttered under his breath. All while I was trying to manage my young son with down syndrome. Nice manager… To the owner of this franchise… Try hiring a manager with some customer service skills and attention to detail. Placing youth in the position of manager may be the more thrifty way to go, but his lack of maturity is not doing you any favors. AVOIDTHISPLACE Oh and to the response… Sometime last week. I may have my days off. But if you look into it i would appreciate it. The treatment I recieved from this employee was beyond ludicrous.

Friendly employees and a block closer to home. It’s located in the plaza of Vons and is quite busy for a Saturday lunch. I tried the new turkey Italiano, which is pretty much a bmt bit with turkey. They take coupons as long as they’re not expired. :) I’ll be back when I get more coupons.

This place is brand new to Quartz Hill, and is placed in the perfect location. The place is very spacious and the line goes rather quickly. Its very clean and the staff was very courteous. This looks like a place I will visit again.
