I couldn’t be happier with these guys! I had 3 companies out to quote my garage and it was all brain damage! Manny came out and was honest, upfront, straight forward about what we needed and what the job entailed (we have an old awkward sized garage). To top it off our installer Andy was phenomenal! Yes phenomenal! He was so polite and professional, he was happy to engage with us on placement of our hardware and he was pleasure to have at our home. Inviting people into your personal space and home can be uncomfortable and sometimes worry some. Andy was top notch and had a 1^st class work ethic! Thank you thank you thank you! I will tell EVERYONE about the amazing job you guys did!

So our garage door decided to die! Of course no one ever plans on this. We called Town and County, they came out. Door was beyond fixing. We decided what door we wanted. Andy came out, replaced the door. FANTASTIC job, looks great, garage door opener quieter than it has every been. We couldnt have asked for anything better. It is great to have such a good local company! Thank you again Andy! Use this company with ease of mind, you wont be sorry!

Had these people install Vega doors, the weather stripping failed. I was quoted an outrageous price from the owner for replacement stripping. For a few bucks more I could have purchased an entire 500′ roll. Yet when they called me (Jeff ?) complaining that my contractor had not paid them yet, I was more than helpful to them. Karl over at A1-​stop garage doors (Palmdale) said he was related to the owner and gave me a killer deal on the stripping I needed. I would have given a 2 or 3 star review but it looks like the reviews are being shilled… one star should give a better reflection for the total overall rating for this company. They seem money driven with very little compassion for their customers (IMHO).
Update 7−9−14: As you can see the owner left a comment here on Unilocal,I responded via Unilocal,to the owner of Town & Country, and informed him who my contractor was… I have yet to receive a reply from Town & Country’s owner.
Looks like they found my invoice.
I called Town & Country the day he posted his comment appx. 1:30 pm he was at the bank.
I do recall Karl mentioning a relationship with Town & Country, I am not 100% sure… But !!! I do know Karl (at A1 garage doors) either gave me the weather stripping in question for free, or charged me an extremely low price… now why would a person do that, for his competitor???
That’s why I felt kind of guilty being so firm with Town & Country.
But !! I still remember asking the owner of Town & Country if he could be a little more reasonable with his price, so I am showing the same compassion that I was shown by Town & Country… NONE !.

Ultra fast service and great people. Just want to say how thankful am I for this great company and Dany is sharp and paid attention to details. Highly recommended. Very reasonable price as well.

Super fast service, very nice and professional service tech (Dany) who came to our house. I damaged the garage door by accident (left a broom in the way of the track) which resulted in the cable coming off, the track wheels coming off, the track getting bent and the door hanging half closed at a weird angle. Unable to close the door + visions of spending the night in 120 degree heat guarding the garage = PANIC… !!
I called Town and Country at 11am thinking that I would NEVER be able to find someone to come over at short notice to fix the problem. Not only did Town and Country rearrange their service schedule to accommodate me but they assigned the job to Dany who came over and took care of the damage. Dany showed me how to keep the garage door in good operational condition and worked quickly to fix everything. By 1pm, the garage door was fixed, working better than before and I am one happy customer.

The spring broke on my manual garage door, which crushed some of the wheels on the tracks. Not good. I had to prop open the VERY heavy door with a piece of wood. Not an attractive look, or very safe. I got two estimates to replace it. One from a major regional player that you often hear advertised on AM radio, and one local to me: Town & Country Garage Doors. The estimates were close in price, but there was so much more value and service with T & C it was an easy decision.
Manny came out promptly and on time the next morning after I called and gave me an estimate. This company has nice clean pick-​up trucks with their logos and numbers on them. They have all the tools they need, and just give an impression of being ready to go. The estimate included a quiet, belt-​driven top of the line motor to lift the door, a new two car garage door, new rails, new wheels, a keypad, two clickers and a multi-​function button that lets you lock the garage or manually shut off the light. And haul the old crap away. The other estimate I received was about the same price but didn’t even include the outside keypad, which was a must for me. I liked the service and estimate so I put down a deposit, and we scheduled a day for installation.
Installation day was scheduled a few days down the road as I was figuring out how to supply power to the garage motor. Instead of doing a big electrical move we used a new extension cord wrapped safely and securely going into an outlet in the garage. I had to speak with Manny a couple of times while figuring out the solution and he was always available or returned calls promptly. Very important. The problem solved, the installer, Sean, came over as scheduled and ON TIME. I think he also gave me a call as he was coming over just to give me a heads up. That kind of follow-​through is appreciated. Again, he had a very clean and professional-​looking truck, and my new garage door and motor were securely delivered! Excitement rising.
Sean obviously knew what he was doing and got right to work. It was great to see my old, dilapidated garage door coming down piece by piece and a new, sleek, quiet and state-​of-​the-​art garage door and motor going up! The old dirty rails came out and shining new ones replaced them! Greasy, old, crusted wheels came out and slick new wheels took their place! Manny had given me an estimate of 4 hours for installation, which I thought was going to be too little time with all the taking out and putting up, but these guys know what they’re doing and the estimate was accurate, or he might have even finished before. Best of all, the new garage door looked great, and everything ran smoothly and whisper quiet!
Sean showed me how to use the garage door keypad and controllers and left me the manual and called it a day. I was VERY happy with my new garage door system, but when I tried to manually program the time the light stays on I found out a multi-​function button was required, which hadn’t been installed. My installer had already left, but when I pointed out the omission he came out either the next day or the day after and put that unit in and it worked perfect. Installation complete!
In conclusion, I was VERY happy with my experience with Town and Country Garage Door, and would recommend them highly, especially if you live in the Antelope Valley area, as they are local (Lancaster), which could mean a big deal if you ever needed service. As with any contractor who does work in your home or garage you should keep in communication with them, and be on site and involved when they do the work so you can see what they’re doing and understand it, but
T & C made the process easy, and I’m very satisfied with the finished product. Give your garage a new smile with these guys.
