I have become a fan of Sports Authority in regards to their Fitness Equipment, they have pretty good deals on Bumper Plates that are in store and are reasonably priced on everything else! Plus they occasionally have a 20% off entire purchase deal which is pretty sweet… haven’t seen anything like that for Dick’s Sporting Goods

Well after waiting in line for 10 minutes while 1 person on the register struggled with ringing up a customer, several employees including the Manager(Andy?) ignoring the next person in line and not taking care of us, would not honor any discount from a mailer that i did not have with me and unfortunately deleted. Should have just looked in my deleted file to show the arrogant SOB behind the counter, however he was to busy moving merchandise from one side of the counter to another looking busy. Too bad you weren’t on break you dope, you lost the sale, and a customer. To LAZY to look at the screen to see how much money I spent there. Welll dick, I mean Andy, I spent money at DICKS, received better service. No wonder your paking lot is empty, get working on your resume, Total fail. I will be sending my memebership card to the home office. by Andy

Went in to buy a sports bra… had to ask three different employees for help. When I finally got pointed towards the«high support» bras, there were only B and C cups available… I literally went through every bra on the rack, no D’s! I guess big boobed women don’t shop at the sport authority?! I spent over 45 minutes in the store searching for what I needed, and went away empty handed. The service sucked to say the least. There were employees everywhere and none of them seemed to want to help me in the least. As an aside, I did overhear one rather chunky employee yelling«YAYLUNCH! YAYFOOD!» which I thought was funny. I guess the employees over there have their priorities… lunch, hanging out with each other and not helping customers. I recommend buying what you need online. not worth the trip into this store.

Good bye Dicks! I really have to say for a place that has looked like it wasn’t going to be there for my next softball season the staff wowed me! I couldn’t be more pleased not only with staff, but with the selection available. I took my older daughter to Dicks the week before and wasn’t impressed at all. I took the whole family to get geared up for teeball and softball and left with everything we needed. My younger daughter forgot a team sock there, I thought for sure someone would of thrown it away. My wife called and sure enough they still had it. Hats off to this store you have all my sport equipment business from here on out.

Oh Sports Authority, how you’ve changed over the years, for worse unfortunately. Since the chain was downsized the staff in this store got reduced dramatically, they had two employees covering the entire store. That said, the amount and diversity of their products will make City Sports shot itself in the head. Their fishing department and active sports department(airsoft, paintball) is unsurpassed and the prices are reasonable. The only thing I was disappointed with was their surfing selection, they didn’t really have normal rash guards and that was the reason for my visit this time. *They carry Bear Grylls merchandise which is a roflcopter considering he drinks his own pee… but there are enough memes about it on the net.

Let’s just start by saying that the only reason they are not getting a one star rating is because of the quality of help I received from the initial purchase of a bike. I also purchased a two year extended warranty from them. This is not even one year later and I had a problem with the bike. I called them up asking them to look up my warranty because I misplaced it during the move to my new place. This is VERYIMPORTANT for the consumer to know. They DONOT keep your information on file. They told me they do not enter it into a data base and these keep them in boxes. I asked them why not? In this day an age. They said it costs too much to enter it into a database. Total bullshit if you ask me. There is no way having boxes of paper files is cheaper then entering it into a database. The guy asked me what month I bought it so he will have to go and look to see if he can find it and call me back. No call back but I ended up finding the the paperwork in one of my moving boxes. I called back and asked if I can get the defective tire replaced and they said no problem, bring it in. I brought the tire in and they would not replace it. They wanted me to bring the entire bike in for them to tune it. A HUGE waste of my time. If they would have told me what to do on the phone, I could have tried to figure it out and adjust the spokes and the breaking system instead of driving it all the way in for them to tell me this. End result is I will never buy anything from Sports Authority again. Customer support«after: the sale is horrible and not entering the customer info into their system is complete bullshit. They want you to misplace the paperwork so that they do not have to honor the warranty. This place should be called«Dicks» lol Sorry, but I will go to Dicks Sporting Goods next time for my sporting needs and hope for better service and support.
