Kiley and her team are absolutely fabulous to work with. Bliss did hair and makeup for me, my two sisters, my mother, and my aunt. Everyone was very pleased with their updos, they all held perfectly through a long, hot, sunny, day and we had a blast at the salon in the process. For the bridal updo, Kiley really listed to my feedback (and my mom’s) and worked to create the perfect look. The bridal trial was awesome, and made me even more confident in our choice to use Bliss for the wedding. I was nervous given I live in Boston MA and had no way of meeting Kiley or visiting the salon in advance (we booked everything sight unseen via a phone call and some text messages!). That nervousness disappeared the second I met Kiley — I knew I was in hands I could trust.
Kiley even went so far as to bring mimosa makings, fresh picked strawberries from her garden, and other snacks to help us celebrate the morning of!
Kiley also rescued us when our nail appointments were canceled unexpectedly and she found a way to get us into another salon. There was no reason for her to even be involved, but she immediately offered to call in some favors and she took care of everything for us. Amazing customer service!
Very reasonably priced, awesome customer service, and we were really pleased with the Bliss team’s work. Don’t hesitate!

Kiley, the owner, is the best and I have been having my hair done by her for about 4 years now. We always have great conversations and she is very hospitable. She is always really busy though so you have to book way in advanced, which I do! I can’t wait for her to do my hair for my wedding! Also the new location is beautiful.

Chelsie is absolutely the best! She’s been in the business for years and I’ve followed to her new location at Bliss! A beautiful location in down town Langley. Chelsie gives the best head massage!

I really want to love these guys after having 2 great haircuts and a nice color job (from a stylist who has now moved away). But I’m really fed up. For over 5 weeks I’ve called and emailed the owner, asking for an appointment. I’ve received 2 emails with excuses, not a single returned phone call, a promise of an appointment «sometime» without a date, but still nothing firm in my calendar. How can anyone run a business like this?
They just appear to be more Whidbey Island flakes. I’m tired of hearing «local» businesses complain that they don’t make enough money. What about such basic services as returning a phone call?
If you don’t want my business or can’t fit me in, just say no, so I don’t waist a month and a half trying to make an appointment and still end up with nothing.
