We concentrate on affordable, personalized services preferred today — whether they be cremation or burial. And because we’re good at what we do, we’re able to hold our prices to about half of what the other funeral homes charge.

We also have years of experience handling international arrangements for those who want to bring their family members home to El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and other Latin American, African and Middle Eastern countries.

History

Established in 1993.

Melanie, the third generation of the Wilhelm family to serve in the funeral business, sold her house and used the money to open Advent’s first facility in Annapolis, Maryland. Two years later, another location was opened in Falls Church, Virginia. In 2013, our Suburban Maryland location opened adjacent to the Beltway (I-​495) at exit 20 A-​B.
