J’s Auto Body

Disclaimer: The owner is the father of my younger brother’s high school friend. That’s the reason I went for the first repair but that isn’t the reason why I went back.
I consider myself a pretty good driver, been driving since 16 and never really got into any major accidents… (well… some) but who was to know the dumpster was parked behind my car? *^^* Anyhoo, went to this body shop for back bumper repair and was very satisfied with the work. So when my accident happened I had no hesitation of going back to this shop. Mind you, it was the other person’s fault so I could have gone to anywhere (even the dealer) but I chose to go back to J’s.
1) The work is done in timely manner. When they say it will be done in one week, it was done in one week.
2) Little extra goes a long way. The shop vacuumed my interior (even the crevasses.)
3) My car WAS white but due to my neglect, it is more like eggshell white now, so when they painted the door, the newly painted door was whiter than the rest of the car. So they buffered the area around the door to blend in the white! Talk about going above and beyond!
4) They are upfront about the cost of service and will not surprise with additional charges when you pick up your car.
Stereotypically, straight forwardness seems to be lacking in the auto industry but I felt that I was treated very fairly and honestly by this shop. Hopefully I wouldn’t need body shop services any time soon but if I did, I would definitely go back to them.
