Kristen was amazing! We were very nervous about finding a wedding photographer in our budget that we were comfortable with, and she was absolutely perfect. She was flexible with a last-​minute change of location for photographs and put both of our families at ease. She was responsive and hugely helpful in walking us through how the day would flow and when the best moments for photos were. We loved how our photos came out and really feel like she captured our personalities.

Kristen is the best! She was the photographer for our wedding on June 20, 2015. I originally found her right here on Unilocal.After visiting her website and checking out her amazing «a la carte» pricing, I decided to contact her to arrange a meeting to make sure she understood my vision for the pictures. She totally understood what I wanted and did exactly what I asked on our wedding day.
She arrived on time (I think even early) and just walked around taking photos at my house while all the girls were getting ready. I tend to prefer random shots then super over-​posed ones. Once we were ready she knew exactly who to grab when for the formal shots. She walked outside of my house and came up with great ideas of where we should sit and stand. I never would have thought of the things she did. She stayed for our entire reception, however her pricing is great because you can choose how long you want her to be there. If you are on a budget you can have her be there for a shorter time. She also offers a back-​up photographer for a small fee in case of an emergency.
Everyday she posts new pictures on Facebook and they are just beautiful! I have received so many compliments on the photos and on Kristen. She made everyone feel so comfortable, yet kept everyone in line at the same time since we had a brief amount of time for bridal party pictures in between the ceremony and reception.
I cannot recommend her enough!

Kristen came out to do a maternity shoot with my husband & I — I can’t even begin to say how pleased I am with everything from beginning to end! From my first email to her she was very professional and kind. On the day of the shoot, she not only came to our house so that we could include our pets (and she was wonderful with them!), she also suggested another venue to have photos done. When we the pictures back, I was in awe of how she captured each moment.
I would recommend Kristen for any photography needs you may have and I can’t wait until the little one has arrived for another photo shoot.

I recently got married in June and Kristen was my wedding photographer. When looking for a photographer I didn’t want some over the top expensive, generic photos. I wanted a photographer that could take great photos and was reasonably priced, period. What I got was so much more…
I first found Kristen Kidd Photography on Unilocal… choosing her was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. After seeing her reviews, I checked out her website and looked at her pictures and bio… at that point I was hooked. Her pictures were simply gorgeous. I also liked the fact that her photographs were like a story instead of standard and formal.
FIRST MEETING: My husband and I met Kristen at a local coffee shop. She brought samples of wedding photo books and we discussed the vision we had for our wedding. We also told her we were on a budget and she worked with us without question or any pressure. After speaking with her, we instantly noticed her passion for her work… therefore we knew she would be passionate about our wedding. We told her right away we wanted her as our wedding photographer. After our meeting she sent us the contract. And honestly we really didn’t need or want to speak to Kristen until right before the wedding because we figured everything out in our first meeting… which was a huge stress relief.
WEDDING DAY: Kristen was our first vendor to arrive (even before the caterer!). She introduced herself to my mom and my wedding party. She started taking pictures right away. She asked my opinion on a couple things (pics of dress, shoes, etc), which was perfect because I am very particular on some of the shots I wanted. I also told her a couple of pictures I wanted in the beginning of the day which she did without question. After the morning, Kristen went off and did her thing. I didn’t even notice she was there until the bridal party photos. Which was important because I didn’t want any distractions during the ceremony. During the bridal party photos, she let me decide where and what type of photos I wanted. After I was out of ideas, Kristen took the lead and incorporated her own unique ideas (which I loved). After the bridal party photos, she went off and continued to do her thing. She was so discrete during the entire ceremony, I didn’t even notice she was there!
PHOTOS: Photo turn around time was pretty quick… quicker then I expected. But even before I got the photos back she would periodically post photos on Facebook, so I got to see some photos right away which was amazing because I was VERY eager to see them. After each photo was posted, I would get comments, texts, and phone calls telling me how beautiful the photos were. That they looked like they were straight out of a magazine, and I agreed! When I got the photos back, I was jumping for joy. They were unbelievably beautiful. I felt like my wedding was on the spread of a wedding magazine. I posted instantly on Facebook and got a flood of comments and likes. I was so unbelievably happy with the photos.
THE BEST PART: I had an opportunity to show my friends and family my photos pretty quickly. However I didn’t show my sister right away because she doesn’t have Facebook and she lives across the country. Last week my mother passed away… my sister flew in right away. The day she passed, my sister wanted to see the wedding photos so we could relive that beautiful and happy day. While looking through the photos, we laughed and we cried… but overall felt nothing but joy. Within minutes of us looking at the slideshow, Kristen messaged me on Facebook to give her condolences. I explained to her that we just looked through the photos and her timing was impeccable. I thanked her for giving me and my family a little bit of happiness on such a tragic day.
I was so grateful for Kristen and her photographs. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! Kristen was kind and caring from beginning to way after the wedding. Her photos were beyond beautiful and original. I couldn’t of picked a better photographer.

We just completed a ‘couple’ photo shoot with Kristen and could not be happier. The images wee wonderfully staged and composed, she set the whole thing up including a shoot in one of our favorite restaurants (before they opened) and was charming and fun throughout. Kristen took pictures of our family when my son was 5 months old, and we forever have a beautiful keepsake from my son’s babyhood! The weather was not ideal and despite a cloudy, damp day Kristen’s pictures came out amazing! She is so talented and I’m so glad to have had her capture such special moments. She helped us pick a location and she sent us sneak peaks within a day and all of our pictures within a week! I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone who wants a wonderful photographer to capture special memories. Thanks Kristen!!!
