Stopped into ABC Liquor after passing it by the last few months (traffic on Saginaw is kind of a bummer) and was both surprised and impressed by the service and selection. I chatted with the owner (Steve) about wine and he suggested a bottle comfortably within my price range. The liquor selection is among the best in the area, and Steve was willing and eager to order anything I might me looking for (mezcal) that wasn’t in stock. My husband and I are cocktail enthusiasts, so a go-​to place for harder to find items is a real «plus;» I picked up a bottle of absinthe on this trip. Lastly, I learned that there is a wine tasting event there tomorrow evening (a Friday). It seems that they do events like this with some regularity and it is nice to have the business really cultivate clientele in that way.
