We offer French Language Immersion programs for all ages. Foreign language immersion works the same way as native language immersion: Listen. Absorb. Speak. We provide an immersive environment to enhance the chances of anybody to become bilingual.

History

Established in 2015.

Aux Petits Soins (oh puh-​TEE swah), a French idiom that means «to take tender care of» was initially a French Language immersion program for babies and toddlers. This program was created by Gaëlle Cassin-​Ross, a native French speaker, after she received multiple requests to tutor kids in French.

«I only speak in French to my son so that he will be bilingual, and after other mothers heard me during play dates, they started to ask if I would teach their children too» Cassin-​Ross said. «At first I thought it was funny, but after it kept happening, I had the idea that this could actually become something.»

Today, there are different programs available for all ages:

— Language Immersions program for children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years;

— Books club, painting an cooking classes for adults.

Our programs create a rare opportunity to learn French in an immersive environment and to be in touch with the French culture.

Business Owner

I’d always dreamed of making a positive change in the world, which is why I initially dedicated my life to scientific research. Indeed, I received my Ph.D. in molecular biology and plant physiology and moved to East Lansing to work at Michigan State University in 2009. I quit my job when I had my son, but found I enjoyed being a stay-​home mom. Aux Petits Soins was born in March 2015 when other parents overheard me speaking French to my son, and they started asking me to teach their children too. Six months later, I had more than two dozen students of all ages. Aux Petits Soins allows me to be the mom I want to be while following my dreams.
