The building is lovely, the staff are professional. Nov 2007. Mr. Morgan seems to be a better business person than a funeral director. Pretty lacking in compassion. The ladies who work there are wonderful.
My husband died and I was given the guilt treatment. How much can one company press a person to buy more and more things they don’t want or need? We had a nice service there but I did not like the playing of the MSU fight song the way it was done. I thought it would be a recording, but the unseen person on the organ was — quite frankly — awful. We cringed all the way through.
The worst part was the handling of the finances. It took me 3 years to pay off the funeral. The military presented me with an American flag for ceremony only, I had to give it back after everyone left. I couldn’t get my husband’s flag until the bill was paid. So today, 3 years later, I got the flag.
To their credit, they allowed me to make payments without sending me to collections.
