Under the management of Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA), Lansing Center has become a cornerstone for economic development amid the city’s thriving corporations. Our rich combination of award-​winning catering, state-​of-​the-​art technology and more than 120,000 square feet of flexible function space has made us mid-Michigan’s premier event facility.

Lansing Center is mid-Michigan’s premier facility for meetings, weddings, banquets, conventions, trade shows, consumer shows and special events. Take advantage of our flexible function space that can easily accommodate up to 5,700 guests. Choose from 12 breakout rooms, ballroom and exhibit space, and a pre-​registration area for pre-​function cocktails and gatherings.

History

Established in 1986.

Lansing Center is the primary and largest convention center in Lansing, Michigan. The center is located along Michigan Avenue, with its western façade fronting the Grand River. It is also directly connected to the Lansing Radisson Hotel by an enclosed, climate-​controlled skybridge spanning the Grand River.

Lansing Center has been managed by the Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA), a non-​profit management entity since 1996.

The center has a total square footage of 124,118 (11,531 m), of which 71,760 ft (6,667 m) is column-​free exhibit space.

Designed by Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum (HOK), the center was opened in 1987, and renovated and expanded in 1995 with Hobbs + Black Associates as the renovation architects.
