Scribbles & Giggles Child Care Learning Center strives to provide a warm nurturing program for children of working parents who need to feel secure that their children are well cared for while they must be away. We provide Child Care (Day Care) Services for children 2 weeks to 12 years old. We have an infant program, toddler program, preschool program & summer camp program. The center will make every effort to assure that the children in care will be well supervised throughout the day, are fed nutritious meals and snacks, and are given the individual attention necessary to provide for their comfort and growth during these important years of their lives. The center hopes that when a parent returns to pick up their child they will find a happy youngster satisfied with the day’s experiences and eager to go home and return to the center the following day. We want to maintain close contact with the families associated with the center to provide the finest child care services in the area.

History

Established in 2007.

Scribbles & Giggles is located in the former Verlinden Elementary School located at 609 N. Verlinden Ave in Lansing, Michigan. The center is conviently located a few minutes from downtown Lansing and Delta township. We fell in love with the building before ever stepping inside of it. What we saw inside only amplified our excitement to bring this recently closed school back to life with bustling children

Built in the 1920’s, this building has all the asthetic appeal and charm of the era. The architecture and structural design of this building is truly amazing. Originally built as a two story, the building had an additional wing added to it in the 1950’s. Today the building is a one and a half story with a total of over 29,000 square feet.

When discussing child care, this facility is perfect. With being in a former elementary school, this school has everything that we need and so much more that puts us above and beyond most centers in Lansing.

Scribbles and Giggles is independantly owned and operated. The owner is on hand at all times and is available and eager to answer any questions or concerns you may have or if you just want to check to see how your precious little one is doing. All classrooms have a lead teacher and an assistant (s). All employees go through a thorough application process that includes essay questions, an extensive background check including fingerprinting, first aid and CPR training and any other applicable training deemed necessary and of course a compassion for children.
