This place is terrible. Not only does their service suck and a lot of the employees don’t know how customer service works, but the food/coffee is hit and miss. If you’re going through the drive through, plan for a 15 minute ordeal.

I had never been to Tim Hortons but I was pleasantly surprised it is like a working man’s Starbucks. The prices were great and the coffee was really good. I was expecting a cartoonishly sweet desert in liquid form but I got a mellow smooth flavor.

A darn good cup of coffee. A perfect alternative to the daily Dunkin visit, just to mix things up. This is a chain place I see when I travel, Im not certain if they have or are planing on having any around Chicago. As if Dunkin Donuts, Panera and a Starbucks had a crazy love child, Hortons boasts some great coffee, and pastries that are just approaching bakery quality(although I got the girl to admit there is no «baking» going on, just the warming of frozen pastries in back, and the addition of glazes and jellies in front.) You can also get soups or sandwiches then relax in soft chairs by a tv.

I go through the drive-thru all the time which is always quick with friendly service. Today I went inside with my visiting dad for lunch and there were 2 people working. One girl on the drive thru side and the girl at the main register. She was frantic trying to take our order, make stuff for the drive thru order(not sure why the other girl couldn’t do her own) and then manage the line of 7 people behind us. We waited patiently and we weren’t upset at all by how long she was taking because we could see she was the only one really doing anything and with experience in my own job I know how it feels. During her rushing around she told us to pick out a donut for each of us for free because of our wait! We didn’t really want the donuts then but took advantage of the donut. The main thing here is that they have people working who care– we weren’t mad at all but she felt she made us wait too long for our order and that’s great customer service for ya. My dad and I frequent Tim Hortons no matter where we are(my dad more than me) and it’s service like that that makes you want to go back!

OMG I love Tim Horton’s! I love this Tim Horton’s! I grew up eating their Tim Bits and apple fritters as we drove through Canada on our way to New York. Now living in Omaha, where we do not have a Tim Horton’s, and I get so excited to come back and stuff my face full of yummyness. If you haven’t tried their soup in the fall/winter you really are missing out. Especially when you are a poor college student.(And you are too lazy to cook yourself.) Most people I know do not like their coffee. I do. It is very strong. It could probably use some cream but I would rather uses those calories stuffing Tim Bits in my face.
