History

Established in 1981.

Ray C’s Cycle & Sports, Inc., was formed February 13, 1981, by Ray and Janet Clemens. We purchased an ongoing business named Jim Harrington’s Sport Craft located at 1332 Imlay City Rd. in Lapeer, Michigan. During our first three years, we determined that many of our customers who participated in motorsports activities were also fervent users of other types of motorsports equipment.

Our vision was to create one dealership – a powersports dealership – that would provide customers a broad range of products and services to meet any and all of their power sports requirements. Three years later, in February of 1984, we purchased Lapeer Sports Center at 1422 Imlay City Rd. We moved into the larger 1422 location and incorporated our business at that time.

Ray C’s nine month project of building his New Harley-​Davidson® state of the art facility at 1491 S. Lapeer Rd, Lapeer Mi has been completed. Our new Location on M24 & I69 has a 29 900 sq foot building giving you everything you would need!
