Super 8 Motel

Clean, hotel with little truck parking. Cdl discounted rate still a little more then I wanto pay. Room was clean, nice tv, none smoking hotel so have to go out side if you smoke. Parking lot is small. But you can put A few rigs in.

I have no real complaints. You have your basics, decent and clean room with internet, microwave and television for $ 58.00.
I came here on my move across country when we had to stop during a severe blizzard. Though Super 8 is advertised as Pet Friendly. This is NOT a Pet Friendly establishment. There’s a sign on the door that says so.
We walked in with the blizzard and the roads were awful, no visibility. I asked if they would be willing to make an exception and they did not really hesitate to agree for a $ 25.00 fee and we appreciated not having to have to venture back out.
Hotel room is priced per-​person.
My only complaint is that the AC/​Heating unit in the room is very noisy, but we were so tired it didn’t prevent us from sleeping.

Pros — Shampoo, modest breakfast of bagels, cereal, juice… Kind service especially with extending our checkout. Food network on cable package. Liquor store w/​40s in walking distance
Cons — Insects seem to pop up around the room, drunken hillbilly blasting country music in the parking lot.
Memo: Our van broke down on the expressway and we stayed at the super 8 while it was repaired. They were kind and a welcome safe haven during a stressful ordeal. Plus it was cheap, «real dang cheap!» according to the tow truck driver.

Good value. No extras so bring your cooler.

I’ve stayed here many times for as much as 4 days. Seems clean (I try not looking too hard). No bad smells. Cheap as well – $ 55 with my Gov’t. discount. They have rooms with microwaves and mini-​refrigerators, which I’ve had before, but can’t remember if they are a few bucks more. Liquor Store across the street, fast food within 1 mile, not too noisy. Overall, pretty good.
The place next door is nicer, but TOO kid friendly for my tastes.
A good place to sleep, with no amenities. CHEAP.

Very small and narrow structure. We flew right past it on the first time around, thinking it was an annex to the much larger LaPorte Hotel and Convention (ha! ha!) center.
My father also had reserved a room at this hotel for the same weekend as we did, and the clerk was nice enough to put us on the same floor across from each other. (Knowing that we would be playing alarm clock for my time-​challenged father all weekend.)
Like the outer structure, the rooms were rather small and narrow. But hell, it was clean, and didn’t stink. I understand that many hotels are «going green» with water and air conditioning. I think the only complaint I have about this place, was that our air barley worked. And I like my environment like a meat locker. So I was rather uncomfortable when trying to go to sleep.
A fair price of about $ 78 per night. No special perks here, no gym, no pool, no game room, just a bed, bathroom, TV, and desk. But then again, we were only sleeping there. Free Continental breakfast of little muffins and cold cereal was in the lobby daily.
