History

Established in 1930.

Foley Hardware has grown significantly since it’s beginning in 1930. There have been several additions to the original building to increase to the 7,500 sq foot store today. Originally owned by the Foley brothers the store has had several owners since it was established. Currently the Merrell family has owned the store since 1982. John Merrell purchased the business from his father Richard in 2000 marking the third generation of Merrell’s in the hardware business in Larchmont. G.W. Merrell“s Hardware was another hardware store in Larchmont from the early 1930’s through the early 1970’s.

It is truly a Family Business serving Larchmont and the sound shore communities since 1930.
