I don’t know why some people have written bad reviews about Bridget. She’s the only stylist who knows how to get volume in my hair and is an amazzzzing updo stylist! I turned heads on Halloween when she gave me an awesome pin up girl updo. Bridget is also really good at putting in my clip in extensions when she puts them in they don’t move, which is awesome.

My hair colorist and stylist moved too far away for me to continue going to her. I went to a number of local places that were okay but I wasn’t feeling satisfied. I ran into Bridget thru a mutual friend. I had no idea she was a colorist and stylist. I randomly started talking about my situation and that I was really concerned as I have my wedding coming up in a few months. Bridget didn’t try to sell me on her or coming to Salon Elle. Instead she offered me great advice as I wasn’t liking the color and needed to try to grow my hair out to have it longer to work with for my wedding. We spoke on two different occasions and I suddenly realized I was getting much better advice from Bridget than the person who was doing my hair at the time. I decided to see what Bridget might do. I LOVE my color. Best it’s been in years. We discussed it and she completely understood what I was looking for and mixed up the perfect formula. With regard to growing out my hair, ever since Bridget has been cutting my hair it’s growing and it looks great even though it’s in that awful in between stage that you go through. I have never had so many compliments. Bridget is doing my hair on my wedding day as well as my matron of honor. I am so happy we are working together. There are so many thing you have to worry about for your wedding and knowing Bridget is doing my hair has removed that item off the list. I recommend Bridget 100%. Not only is she good at her craft, but she’s also one of the nicest people you will ever meet!

The Salon Elle team is very talented and friendly. I get my cut, color and extensions done by a Lisa and Bridget. The consultations are thorough and professional. I Love my Hair Girls and have never felt better!

I came upon salon Elle in my Groupons. I tried a three pack of conditioning treatments. We just came back from two weeks in Puerto Rico and my hair looked like straw. They set me up with Bridget, who had just started there. When the treatment was over, I was floored, I got my «mane» back!!! I’ve been there now for two and a half years and have bought their 10 pack blowout packages four times now. For over 30 years I’ve been to salons from Manhattan to a very well known colorist in Mt. Kisco. Let’s just say that Bridget is THE BEST. she offers suggestions, will do whatever I ask, and now colors and highlights my hair, as well as weekly blowouts and haircuts. Plus, she thoroughly explains the treatments, what they do, etc. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her. Being in her chair is like a mini vacation. She is beautiful, has amazing hair and is the sweetest, loveliest person you will ever meet. For a woman who is almost 60, I have people on the street, in church, on the metro train, in the gym and the market always come up to me and firstly, say how beautiful my hair is, they love the color and cut. Then they ask where I go and I happily tell them, «Salon Elle». The salon is conveniently located in Larchmont! has a large and free parking lot. It was recently redone and looks beautiful. Very elegant in tasteful shades of grey and zen like. The two owners, both named Lisa, are lovely as well. The staff always greets you, offers you a refreshment and makes for a very nice experience.

A few weeks ago a stylist names Bridget completely messed up my keratin. When I called to complain and try to get it fixed the manager/​salon owner never contacted me and had the stylist call back. Not only was she rude she could not fix me in with ANYONE for over a week which I do not believe as I have gone there before and barely needed an appointment. I will never let them touch my hair again.

A few weeks ago a stylist here named Brigette gave me the worst haircut of my life. I told her that I didn’t like a lot of layers, and she said OK. She proceeded to give me a 2-​level haircut, where to top level of my hair is cut about at my ears, and the lower level is at my shoulders. It looks awful. My husband knew a woman who was standing on the subway platform a few years ago when a crazy person ran up to her with scissors and chopped off a chunk of her hair — this is what my hair looks like, like a crazy hobo chopped at it. Every morning when I blow dry my hair I feel like crying. The top layer is so short, it will take forever to grow out this huge mistake. I’m going to be wearing a ponytail for the whole next year. :(I will NEVER go to this salon again, and I would advise you not to go either.

They sent two ladies over to do mine and my sisters hair for our brothers wedding. Bridget and Claudia were amazing. Extremely talented and they were both a complete pleasure to work with. Our hair dos turned out amazingly and we got tons of compliments from the wedding guests.

Bridget was a no show for my appointment to have my hair styled FOR MY WEDDING.
I had been to Salon Elle before to get highlights, and had requested someone who could also consult on bridal updos for my upcoming wedding. Bridget did my highlights and they came out well (although the price was much more than they had originally quoted me on the phone). We also discussed wedding hair looks and reviewed some photos. At the end of the appointment, I stood at the front desk with her and the receptionist and scheduled the appointment for the morning of my wedding. We had to make the appointment early, because I told them I had to leave the salon by 10am. Done. Fast forward to the morning of my wedding. I show up, and no Bridget. One of the other stylists says «I’m sure she’s coming.» 9:15 and still no Bridget. They call her and she says she had no idea about the appointment and could get to the salon in half an hour, which is basically when I needed to leave by. At this point I start sobbing. The three employees there did nothing to comfort me and offered absolutely NO assistance. They ignored me until I left. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY.
I frantically called other salons in the area and Donna at Total Image Hair Salon in New Rochelle immediately said «Don’t cry. I’m working on someone now, but come here and we’ll do the best we can before 10.» I rushed there and her client was super nice about letting me jump in so Donna could whip up my hair and have me out the door in 30 minutes. Some people have a heart, but they don’t work at Salon Elle.

I decided to go to Salon Elle from reading the reviews on Unilocal.I am new to the area. So Unilocal is my go to for services. I had a root touch up and blow dry by Bridget. She was wonderful. I have to say the best blow dry I have ever had. The color came out amazing as well. Its difficult to find a stylist that can get your hair the way you want, but be able to have easy and great conversation is a plus. Bridget is a star inside and out. I will be back.

What you would expect at a women’s hair salon in Larchmont, friendly atmosphere, music, chatty customers etc. Staff was extremely friendly and I received a pretty great hair cut. Floor was a tad dirty but I only really noticed because I was staring at it for most of the time. Best thing was that I got 15 percent off cause it was my first time!

I have been coming here for a while now, this is a great salon. I love the girls that work there. My hair always looks amazing!!! They have a great team. I would definitely recommend this place. They’ve also done my extensions here & up-​dos for several occasions & I’ve always been very happy.

I was displaced from Long Island during Hurricane Sandy. 11 day later and still no power at my home. I was in need of some R & R and called Salon Elle for a last minute appointment (I called at 945AM and got an appointment at 1030).
What a nice salon this was! It was exactly what I needed and Claudia was so nice. I had a wash, simple cut and blow dry.
Thank you salon Elle more making me feel «more normal».
