Where do I start? Let me first say that the hotel staff made an attempt to steal my identity. All attempts to reach a manager were without result. Close to 11 pm on Saturday night we got a call to our room on the hotel phone. A man claiming to be a manager claimed that the hotel computer system got a virus and that in order to stay in our room we needed to provide our information again. After agreeing because I wanted to stay in my room he asked for name which I did provide. He then wanted our credit card number. That I wasn’t going to give. At that point my father woke up and got involved and said he was going to go down to speak with the manager right now at which point the so-​called manager hung up. In calling back the front desk I spoke with Myra whom said there is no such virus nor is there any manager on duty. I asked Myra how could someone call our room. She explained that they are directed to the room from the front desk. She said she cannot send the call unless the caller can provide the name of the occupant (s). I asked her if he knew our name and she said yes. So then I told her that we are in an unknown town where nobody would know we are staying there. The only ones who would have access to that information would be hotel staff. After staying there already one night we figured it could have been a maid who had seen names on prescription bottles or someone at the front desk giving out our information. I pursued a police report and I will never stay there again!

This place knows how to treat their guest. Happy hour with free alcoholic beverages. Also had free pancakes from 8pm-​12pm. The rooms were nice and clean. The best part was check in was very smooth. I plan on staying here for all my business trips to Laredo.

We took a little trip to Laredo and stayed at the Holiday Inn. Very clean rooms and excellent customer service. The only problem is there is only one place to eat within walking distance. Except for that it is a great place to stay.
