I’ve been here three or four times. I read some of the negative reviews and have to say that their experiences have not matched mine at all! The food has been extremely good and the portions very generous(as pointed out in a «good» review). The service has been very good… the waitstaff have been quick to check on our table, to refill glasses and also to answer any questions I had regarding the menu. What I have found different here than other phở restaurants I’ve been to is their«a la carte» portion of the menu… which is what I order from the most. I really like this little establishment and recommend it to others.

Been to this place twice, and not impressed, it must be a cultural thing between being located in a Border town and acting and treating people like they were all Vietnamese. No one speaks English, so you just point at the pictures on the wall and hope you like it. Expensive for what you get, so hit a Whataburger and you’ll be happy.

Food quality has declined drastically and horrible customer service. Ordered takeout and the spring rolls tasted either rancid or as if the oil used has been recycled for several days. Went back the same night and cashier could not do anything to help. Left note for owner/manager. Neither one had the courtesy to contact me within the first couple of hours of next business day. I dropped by at 3pm manager knew exactly what I was talking about as I began explaining why I was there. At which point I demanded my money back when he offered to make a new order of spring rolls. I would have accepted the order of spring rolls the night before or even earlier that day if he had the courtesy to contact me. Sadly, Laredo has few dinning options when it comes to Vietnamese food and it seems as their competition across the street has the upper hand. Never dining here again.

Had the Beef phở. Generously served, more than enough basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes and onions. Broth had the hint of star anise and slow cooked bouillon. A no frills space yet it delivers an authentic phở in generous portions. Thumbs up.

My husband and I used to go there often but stopped going once they started being skimpy on their food. Their answering service manners is also horrible one person answers the phone and hangs up on you. Honestly won’t be going back there again.

The place could be better decorated. The food is good, but nothing special. Overall, I want to love this place, but it is not quite there. I’ll be sure to give them another try soon.

I saw FOUR too many cochroaches in the restaurant. I encountered the first cockroach in the restroom upon entering the restaurant. It was on it’s back with its legs frantically moving for help. I lost my appetite but I was craving phở so I let it slide. When I returned to my table, guess what I see? Two more dead cockroaches next to the table and one behind my chair. I left the restaurant with my party and am glad I didn’t eat there. I can’t imagine how unsanitary their food preparation and handling is if they can’t keep cockroaches out of where the customers EAT.

Being the only restaurant of vietnamese food, they should take pride of it. It is not just about the money. Come on, no green onions on the fried rice, and can you please tell are you satisfied with the taste of it. It is mush and cheaply put together. For what you charge a little effort on making it nice and the way it should be, and also make money out of it. The chance and opportunity is there to be the place for fried rice in Laredo, corner the market, if you will. The few places here do not make it right, but you guys know how to make, but choose not to do it right and that is a sin in any religion. The Phos are good, the broth is flavorful and show the potential. Not grabbing it is just a miss chance. Hope you guys improve. And use green onions, they are way cheap…

The food is pretty good. The fresh noodle bowls are excellent as well as the stir fried dishes traditional Chinese entrees. The only issue I have with this place is the service, which is between fair and poor. When you sit down it takes them a few minutes to give you menus and even offer you drinks, probably lack of training and being able to understand customers needs. If it weren’t for the poor service experiences I’ve had the last two or three times I’ve gone, I would give this place 5 stars

This place is Laredo good. I’ve been spoiled with some awesome Phở in the Austin area for awhile now and this place doesn’t compare to it by any means. It is nice to see that Laredo has a restaurant that offers something different though. I’ll give ‘em an A for effort.

We’ve being going to this place for a while and it’s ok. Not outstanding or true original phở but tasty. Last time I was there though I was very disappointed. They served us cilantro instead of basil for the phở :(and the soy beans where nearly spoiled… I might not go back for the phở but maybe for their fried rice. The rice was really good as always.

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because Laredo needs other restaurants that are not Mexican or BBQ. Also, my cousin likes their fried rice. Otherwise, I would have given this place 1 star. A Hispanic women initially tried to take our order, but a tall Asian man essentially scooted her out of the way and didn’t let her take our order. It was very rude how the man handled this situation. If there was an issue, he should have called her aside and said something. Now the Phở, if you could call it that was a problem. My mom and I were given everything that goes in Phở except broth. Seriously!!! Soooo instead of soup we got a cabbage salad. The only reason we didn’t complain is that after the scene we witnessed between the co-workers we decided just to eat our food and go.

The dumplings were steamed, but the center was still cold, so maybe it was frozen. The fried rice was not fried, it was more like sauteed. But since it is the only Vietnamese restaurant in Laredo, I ate it anyway.

They really aren’t doing this phở stuff right. Whatever it is they are doing still tastes good. So for being the only phở place in Laredo I really shouldn’t complain.
