All I can say is, I dodged a bullet. it would have been real easy for an air conditioning company to come out and tell me some expensive part had just gone out on my AC. How do I really know, when my air is down and when I get home it feels like 100 degrees inside? I was just hoping that they didn’t have to order parts or face some big delay. But it was like 4:30 when I called and they asked if I wanted them to come out after hours (costs more), so I said no, tomorrow would be fine. Moments later I began to regret that decision. So it’s like an hour later and I call back when I figured out that opening all the windows, helped very little. The dispatcher says she will try and give me an update in about 90 minutes. Less than 90 minutes later, as I begin thinking what a cold hotel room will cost me, the owner himself (Adam) shows up in his van. Opens the garage, checks my inside ac and then goes to the outside one. Starts unscrewing the cover, and I’m thinking this is going to be a months pay at least anyway. Within an hour of getting to the house, my ac began running again. It turned out that some kind of contact or fuse thing had gone bad. My multi thousand dollar panic turned into little more than what the service call cost. I hate to say there aren’t a lot of honest people out there. Lets just say I found someone I will trust and recommend. If you are reading this Adam, thank you!

I was very thankful that Adirondack was able to get to me quickly after I came home from work and my a/​c was broken. I called them because they were highly recommended by a friend of mine. The service was quick and for a very reasonable price. I will eventually need to get a new a/​c unit and will absolutely be calling Adirondack in the future for all of my a/​c needs.

This company is AMAZING! They came to fix my AC in Belleair Beach same day! Im usually not the type to write any reviews unless a company is really bad or really good. They were friendly, diagnosed the issue fast and even had the necessary parts to fix it on the spot! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My air conditioner stopped blowing cold air, so I called 3 companies to give me an estimate on repairing it. This company was the last of the 3 to give me a quote.
Repair tech showed up at my door right on time. He took a look at the whole system and said that he needed to call the owner of the company to confirm something. The repair tech didn’t know this, but I overheard his entire conversation. He told the owner that my compressor was bad and that it could be fixed relatively easily since the entire unit was only 4 years old. That’s when I heard the owner snap! He started yelling at his employee. He screamed «I don’t care what the problem is, we get into the house, we assess the problem, and then we try to push a new system install». The repair tech told him that it wasn’t necessary at all. I heard a lot more yelling and then The tech came back to share the news. He said «well I’m sorry to say, but it looks like we need to install a whole new system, and that it would cost $ 4,300 to replace».
I was in complete shock. The other 2 companies told me I had a bad compressor. Both quotes were within $ 50 dollars of each other (around $ 700 total). I kindly asked The tech to leave and said that I would think about it. After he left, I made my decision to hire one of the other companies. I thought my Adirondack experience would end here. I was mistaken!
A few days later I got a call asking how my visit went. I explained that I hired a different company, but thanked them for their time. A few minutes later I received a call from the owner. It started off with intense yelling. I was called several horrible names that I wouldn’t dare repeat. My kids were in the car with me listening to the whole thing. I told the owner that I would never consider hiring his company, and that I would write online reviews to ensure that nobody else would ever have to endure this embarrassment. He told me that I would be sued If I wrote one word.
Well… As promised, here’s my review. There will be plenty more to come on other media outlets. Feel free to have your lawyer call.
If you’re reading this, please be warned. This is not a company you want to work with. Criminals!

These guys are great and have a great response time. They got to me within the given time period and did some great work to get my AC back and running. We all know that Florida is pure misery in the summer without any heat. These guys saved me money and saved my dog from having a heat stroke from the lack of cool air. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends, as well as be calling them again if I need any more work done to my home.

I just recently used Adirondack Service to install a new AC system. They did a fabulous job. The service techs were prompt and very professional. The price was in line with all other companies I researched. Very satisfied with purchase!

Adirondack serviced one of our heat pumps when we moved in to our house and has since replaced both units. Their techs have always been professional and have answered all of my questions. They’ve done great work, the county inspectors who checked the installations have confirmed that they have done so as well. They remove the old stuff and leave the house just like it was when they arrived, except the AC now works.
I don’t hesitate to recommend Adirondack Services, the people who instal and maintains your AC is even more important than who manufactures them!

Every time this business removes my post, I will post it again. Another mark of unprofessionalism.
***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!*** The owner is completely unprofessional and will threaten you if you have an issue with service. We recently called adirondack services for our A/​C unit, it wasn’t turning on and we also needed a duct check. We were quoted a reasonable amount so decided to use this company. Upon arrival, the technician took it upon himself to attach the loose wire on our unit and then presented us with an outrageous fee for something that we didn’t authorize him to do. Seeing as we only wanted a quote on the repair of the unit we were a bit frustrated to be forced to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a loose wire. The problem isn’t even the price of the service, it’s the fact that this company takes it upon itself to rack up a service bill without consulting the customer. Here’s were it gets really bad. Of course we were upset so my husband wrote a complaint to the owner, Adam. Adam was no help whatsoever, which after our experience, we weren’t that surprised. The kicker is that in his response, he proceeded to say that any complaint made against his company would be considered SLANDER and that we should «guard ourselves accordingly» immediately followed by his attorney’s information, he also CCed his response to his attorney. I take this as a threat and will follow up accordingly. This guy is trying to threaten us with legal action all because we voiced our concerns to him, which we have every right to do. A good business is built on customer satisfaction and good service, not swindling customers. Obviously this business makes it money from first-​time customers only, I can’t see any sensible person using this business for a second time, extremely unprofessional and rude.

I’ve been using Adirondack air-​conditioning for over a period of 5 years. Very timely, professional. I’ve even left a key for them while I was at work along with my credit card. Trustworthy and very polite technicians.
