Business Owner

Chef J. Sean Squires is a local culinary expert who has changed

the face of many local restaurants. Prior to opening the very

successful Island Way Grill 9 years ago, Chef Sean completed his

studies at Florida Culinary Institute and opened Nationally

renowned Salt Rock Grill in Indian Rocks Beach Florida and 400

Beach Seafood & Tap House in St. Petersburg Florida. He has

performed his art of cooking from the Pacific Northwest to all

the shores of Florida, developing menus at existing and new

concepts. He has trained many of our local talent and won many

awards and medals competing against some of the most

talented Chefs across the United States. J. Sean Squires has

been followed and written up in most of our local publications

and several cook books.
