They have a crappier selection of games than M&M’s conveniently located right down the street from them. A large selection of movies and Blurays though. Extremely rude service. Went in there with the intention of buying a overpriced game for 70 bucks, and the guy behind the counter acted like me and a buddy were just wasting his time. We were wasting his time according to him by asking the price of his games. We had to wait while he searched ebay to ask for top dollar prices. It wasn’t our fault we couldn’t just get prices. He then said if we didn’t buy them, someone else would.
If you are too good for your customers, you don’t deserve any. I just ordered the game for cheaper online.

They have an amazing amount of moviee for rentals. The games are great. Low prices so much better than other game stores out there. They even have a projection screen and for an hour you can play a game for any console. My husband and I can spend hours looking around in that store! I have taken a few friends there and they have all found what they were looking for. Highly recommend this store everyone!

I go here to play Magic the Gathering, a trading card game. They have to be the best shop in town. Mike and james are two of the greatest dudes you will ever meet. If you’re looking for video games, movies, renting movies, or tcg. This is the place to go!

Here’s the problem with redbox-​you can only got so many movies in that box and for some unknown reason, most of the movies are god awful choices no one would rent. Seriously, go to
and scroll through the choices.
And the problem with Netflix is they haven’t been licensed everything.
That’s what we lost when blockbuster and Hollywood video went bellyup-​a huge selection of every movie you could want. Unfortunately, it came with insane fees.
But fear not st petersburgians (st peyersburgites?), here is your savior. No, they do not have the selection of a blockbuster, but they have more and better movies than redbox, plus all the new releases, and if the owner doesn’t have what you want, he writes it down to go pick up for next time. He’s constantly expanding his selection. Redbox might be closer than this place, but if your local redbox doesn’t have it, call, because he might.
And the best part? Same cost as redbox. $ 1 a day. He also has games, and a gaming room. No sh*t, but he said his place stays full through the early morning hours on Fridays and Saturdays of people paying $ 25 a head to play dungeons and dragons games, other role playing games, and video games. I didn’t know people paid to do that, but if you’re into that kind of thing, then clearly this is the place to be.
It’s nice to know video rental stores are still around and surviving, because until there is a single service (or more than one so there is competition) that has every released movie, TV show and special, places like this will still be needed.

The nostalgia of searching for video rental is brought back to life by this little video rental shop. remember hunting through blockbuster video for you and your date? Well, this is your chance to relive that experience and what a good idea for an ‘old fashioned’ date night!
The key difference between here and Blockbuster is that this place is the SAME PRICE as your red box rental! No ridiculous fees like we had to deal with with Blockbuster rentals. So if you find that the movie in the red box you wanted is sold out this is an alternative and you can go here since they have most of the new releases. Just call and ask.
One honest critique is I was hoping for a huge selection of classic films but they only have movies from about 1970s– current releases. I know I’m in the minority and there is not a huge demand for that sort of genre, so I can’t really fault this place for that. The owner did say he was constantly adding movies and to check back and we will.
I’m not a gamer, but the owner, who’s a really nice guy, explained to us about a gaming room next to the movie rentals where people who want to meet up to play video games can go in and play for $ 25 until the wee hours in the morning. He was telling us about people who play dungeons and dragons, etc playing until 3am! How many places are open that late!?!

Which is honestly why I usually shop Amazon.
Anyways, Game On isn’t like that at all. When I walked in, a sales person gave me the basic layout of the store and left me alone. On the right side of the store are blu-​ray and DVD rentals. Blockbuster might be gone, but I still love local rental stores.
The middle of the store is where they sell games — video games from NES, SNES, N64, Wii, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, 360 and the GameBoy platforms. They also have recently started selling Magic cards and other card games and have singles for sale. Turns out Magic is becoming a huge thing, and they host tournaments as well.
The left of the store is the game room: 6 HDTVs with all the modern consoles hooked up. They also have a projector that hits one of the walls. They have 3 tables set up for Tournaments/​parties.
I liked the place: clean, a variety of old and new games at good prices, and cheapest magic cards in the area. If it weren’t for having a girlfriend and it being close to work and not home, I could see going there more.

Game On-​Movies & Games is a nice little store that has a small selection of games and movies to purchase and a movie rental area for those who still enjoy the classic movie rental experience.
What they lack in selection they make up for in service and promotional offers. The sales person we met was very nice, answered all of our questions and let us view their gaming room.
The gaming room is great for gaming oriented childrens birthdays or even more grown customers looking to do a tournament. There was about half a dozen flat screen TV. and a projector in a dark room for about $ 80 and hour they will hook whatever system you want to however many TVs they have that you want to use and with any games that you want. I was told if they do not have the game or system that they would try their best to acquire one to fulfill your needs.
I’ve only been there once but I will definitely go there again.
